Xenoblade Chronicles 3 dual audio

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 will support both English and Japanese-language voice tracks upon launch. However, unlike Xenoblade Chronicles 2, players won't need a separate download to install their preferred voice track. Instead, the initial Xenoblade 3 game install is dual audio. This means it contains both voice tracks, and will let players choose their preferred voice language from the outset.

Nintendo confirmed the inclusion via a Tweet.

The tweet included a video comparing both voice tracks, allowing players to experience Xenoblade Chronicles 3 in dual audio and contrast the characters' lines and delivery in either language.

Earlier videos also confirmed the English voice cast for Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

  • Noah - Harry McEntire
  • Mio - Aimee-Ffion Edwards
  • Eunie - Kitty Archer
  • Taion - Olivier Huband
  • Lanz - Jack Bardoe
  • Sena - Rebecca LaChance

Additionally, here's the Japanese voice cast.

  • Noah - Ryohei Arai
  • Mio - Minami Tsuda
  • Eunie - Megumi Han
  • Taion - Ryohei Kimura
  • Lanz - Kosuke Tanabe
  • Sena - Miyuki Satou

It's beneficial for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 to have dual audio options for voice acting. After all, not every user has unlimited access to internet bandwidth. They may not be in a position to visit the eShop to queue up an added download.

Xenoblade Chronicle 3 will release on the Nintendo Switch on July 29, 2022. Check out Siliconera's preview of the game's first hours. Graham called the early hours of the game "a familiar, robust adventure" and "a comfort for those who use games like this as long-term companions."
