Microsoft revealed the initial batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2023, with the lineup including Yakuza spin-off Like a Dragon: Ishin. The company confirmed six titles will be joining the service between October 3-17, 2023, including two “day one” releases.
Here is the full list of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October 2023:
- October 3, 2023: Gotham Knights (PC, Xbox Series X/S and cloud) and The Lamplighter’s League (Day one – PC, Xbox Series X/S and cloud)
- October 4, 2023: Warhammer 40,000: Darktide (Xbox Series X/S, cloud)
- October 10, 2023: Forza Motorsport (Day one – PC, Xbox Series X/S and cloud)
- October 12, 2023: From Space (PC, console, cloud)
- October 17, 2023: Like a Dragon: Ishin! (PC, console, cloud)
This is all in addition to Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, which recently released for Xbox Game Pass on PC, console and cloud.
Like a Dragon: Ishin coming to Xbox Game Pass had been announced during the Xbox Digital Broadcast at Tokyo Game Show 2023, although a release date wasn’t confirmed at the time for the Yakuza game. The announcement also revealed that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name would be joining the service on November 9, 2023, the day of its release.
As always, a few titles will also be leaving Xbox Game Pass this month. As of October 15, 2023, the following games will no longer be available:
- Eville
- Overwhelm
- Shenzhen I/O
- The Legend of Tianding
- Trek to Yomi
- Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion
