During the September 2023 Nintendo Direct, Chucklefish revealed a Wargroove 2 release date. The Advance Wars-like strategy game will head to the Nintendo Switch and PC on October 5, 2023. There's also a new trailer accompanying the announcement, allowing people to see what the new campaign looks like and revisit its gameplay. This comes after the March 2023 announcement that the game was on the way.
Here's the new look at Wargroove 2. The video begins with some battle footage showing direct fights between different kinds of units. Then the view pans out to show some of the maps we’ll fight on. After that, it highlights some of the new factions, like one group made up of a race of mice people. We also get a glimpse at some story segments and the new Supercharged Groove abilities. There will be an ability to level up units with items or go through a roguelike mode too this time. Also, as usual, there is a map and campaign editor and both offline and online multiplayer.

The Wargroove 2 Nintendo Switch and PC release date is October 5, 2023. The original Wargroove is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
