Visions of Mana Isn’t an Xbox Game Pass Game

While Visions of Mana will be on the Xbox Series X and PC, it will not be among the Xbox Game Pass games at launch. Eurogamer learned from Microsoft will not be a part of the subscription service when it debuts in Summer 2024. [Thanks, Eurogamer!]

The question came up as it briefly appeared on the official Xbox site according to Karim Jovian and Idle Sloth. However, Microsoft then noted this is an error. Visions of Mana won’t be an Xbox Game Pass game for the console and PC at launch. However, the comment from Microsoft did note that it is only not part “at this time.” Due to the nature of the service, this could change.

It isn’t uncommon for Square Enix games like Visions of Mana to show up on the service. For example, all of the Final Fantasy games capable of running on Microsoft platforms were a part of the library at one point. NieR: Automatawas there too. However, as of time of writing there are no notable Square Enix RPGs currently part of Xbox Game Pass.

Visions of Mana, which was originally announced in December 2023, will come out for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and WIndows PC via Steam in Summer 2024.
