Pocketpair Warns About Fake Palworld Android and iOS Mobile Games

Pocketpair sent out an alert about fake Palworld mobile games showing up on Android and iOS storefronts. It’s a standard reminder that the company isn’t behind the titles and there are no mobile adaptations of the game.

Here’s the official announcement. In it, Pocketpair noted that it reported the offending Android and iOS apps to both Apple and Google, so the fake Palworld mobile games could eventually disappear.

At a glance, a few Palworld apps are showing up on storefront. For example, there’s a MapGenie: Palworld Mapand a Palworld Guidefrom Concept Squares. Beatomni on the subreddit for the game also pointed to a pre-order for a fake game from Oleksandra Kryvcun called PalWorld supposedly coming out on February 4, 2024 in a European App Store.

However, we could eventually see an official mobile game from Pocketpair. It is working with Klab on a mobile “hybrid-casual” game. It is unknown if that will be tied to Palworld. However, the companies did note they'd been working together to develop a new project since 2020.

Palworld is available in early access on the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. There's no word yet on when Pocketpair and KLab's mobile game will appear.
