Sony kicked off its yearly PlayStation 2023 Wrap-Up, which is a site people can visit to discover their most-played PS4 and PS5 games of the year. As usual, you also get digital rewards for checking in on your progress.
Seeing what your stats are is fairly easy. After visiting the official site, log into your PlayStation Network account. If you’re already logged in, clicking the “let’s find out” button automatically takes you to your stats. Things will start out by explaining how many games you played in 2023. It’s on this page that it will share your first game played in this year. (So for example, in my case it said my first game of 2023 was Genshin Impact and played on January 1, 2023.)
The second panel in the PlayStation 2023 Wrap-Up goes over your top five most-played PS4 and PS5 games. In this section it will also explain how many hours were spent with each title, how many trophies you earned in it, and the playtime ratio for it. The third goes over your most-played genre. In my case, it noted a Role Player gaming style, with 43% of the titles played being RPGs. The Your Year in Play page shows the most-played game for each month, with gaming sessions, hours logged, games played, and trophies earned listed for each month.
This year, the wrap-up also includes recommended games. The fifth panel will list other games people should consider checking out or playing based on their gaming style and past sessions.
The sixth panel goes over how many total hours you played, then breaking it down further by platform. So in my case, the PlayStation 2023 Wrap-Up mentioned 91.6% of my most-played games were on the PS5. It also noted I used the Dualsense. The seventh panel goes over total trophies earned. The eighth brings up the “social style” explaining how often you played with others and if you joined parties with other players.
Finally, the last panel offers the rewards. Someone could download images with their stats. There is also a voucher code for the PlayStation Wrap-Up Avatar and a PlayStation Stars Digital Collectible. The collectible shows up in your PlayStation App, while someone can get the avatar and use it with their profile immediately.
The PlayStation 2023 Wrap-Up is available until January 12, 2024.
