A handful of Palworld Digimon mods appeared on Nexus Mods courtesy of SV BOY and FrancisLouis. SV BOY created ones of Gabumon, Omegamon, and Tyrannomon over the past week, while FrancisLouis created a Garurumon one.
All of these Digimon Palworld mods are Pal replacement ones. This means an existing character in your PC version of the game will be replaced with the new model. Here’s the full list of what each one changes:
- Bushi becomes Omegamon
- Eikthyrdeer becomes Garurumon
- Leezpunk becomes Gabumon
- Relaxaurus becomes Tyrannomon
The installation method for all of them is the same. You need to go into the directors in Steam to find Palworld, then place the new .pak files in the Palworld\Pal\Content\Paks folder. FrancisLouis also mentions making a “mods” folder in the “Paks” one. The Nexus Mods file download page for each also has the manual and mod manager download options.
Here’s how all of the four mods look. First, here are FrancisLouis’ screenshots of Garurumon. Note that in-game it will still list the character as Eikthyrdeer.
Next, here are SV BOY’s Digimon mods. In this case, both standard and “Lucky” versions of Gabumon and Tyrannomon are shown.
It isn't uncommon for such mods to appear. For example, some mods appeared that added Topaz and Numby from Honkai: Star Rail to the game.
Palworld is in early access for the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
