Nintendo announced it will hold a Nintendo Live 2023 event in Seattle in September 2023. It didn’t announce a location for the event yet. There are also no exact dates. However, it did confirm attendees will get to play game demos, take part in tournaments, see people in character costumes.
The official site for the Nintendo Live 2023 Seattle event is live. It referenced four specific elements. It noted that there will be games present. Tournaments are mentioned in their own category. (Games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe or Splatoon 3 could show up in that area.) Photo opportunities will arise, with the official announcement mentioning Mario and Luigi being present. Finally, there will be some “live stage” element.
As a reminder, there’s another major gaming event that happens every year around September in Seattle. PAX West often is held there around that time. PAX West 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2020 all happened within the first week of the month. There are no dates for PAX West 2023 yet.
We still don't know what games Nintendo has planned for the latter half of 2023 yet. We do know that Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp comes out on April 21, 2023, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will appear on May 12, 2023, and Pikmin 4 will appear on July 21, 2023. However, there are no first-party release dates for titles past July.
