Nijisanji announced on social media that the Vtuber Kyo Kaneko will graduate on February 17, 2024. Kyo will hold a live stream on YouTube at 8am PT/11am ET/5pm CET explaining his decision.
First, here’s the announcement revealing Kyo will leave the company. It didn’t offer any explanation for his departure. However, it did clarify that activities will end and the YouTube membership both end on February 17, 2024. Fan letters can still be mailed into the company and will be delivered to Kyo until March 17, 2024. There’s no set end-date for merchandise, but those sales will taper off too.

Kyo Kaneko debuted as a Vtuber back in July 2022. He’s a part of the group ILUNA. The other five members are Aia Amare, Aster Arcadia, Maria Marionette, Ren Zotto, and Scarle Yonaguni. All of them will remain with the company.
This is one of many notable Nijisanji graduations over the past few months. For example, Pomu Rainpuff was the first graduation of 2024. She left in January. Mysta Rias and Nina Kosaka also left in 2023. Ryushen and Selen Tatsuki are both on a break.
