The Twitter account for Mineko’s Night Market has issued an apology for the performance on the Switch. It acknowledges multiple issues that users have complained about, as well as explains that updates to fix these problems might take a bit longer than they’d like.

You can read the full statement via the Twitter account for the game, as well as here:

In summary, the studio plans on addressing three major bugs: the bug in HQ, audio hitching while loading, and the Ramen Shop quest. However, because patches for the Switch need to wait for Nintendo to test and approve of them, it might take a while to release them for the public.

The first patch will come out soon and will address “minor fixes,” which includes a fix to the Ramen Shop quest. The reason why this will come out so quickly is because the team submitted it before the game came out. The second patch will come out next week. It will fix many issues, including a fix to the HQ quest. The PC version of the game has already fixed a multitude of these problems.

Mineko’s Night Market is a business simulation game in which you have to revitalize a local night market in a small Japanese island. You have to also get your neighbors to set up shop as well. In order to do so, you can do quests for your neighbors, as well as make and sell crafts for your own store.

Mineko’s Night Market is readily available on the Nintendo Switch and Windows PC. It’ll also come out for the PS4, PS5, and Xbox One on October 26, 2023. You can read our review of the game here.
