The new trailer introduces the world and explains the conflict over the crystals. It also sets up Clive’s journey to destroy the crystals to save the world. Several Eikons, such as Ifrit and Shiva, appear, along with enemy and friendly Dominants alike.

Final Fantasy XVI will be the latest entry in the long-running Final Fantasy series. It will be the first Final Fantasy game with an M-rating due to sexually suggestive scenes and gore. A demo is available, allowing players to experience its action RPG-like mechanics and systems.

Prior to his debut under his real name, Kenshi Yonezu released Vocaloid songs as Hachi. His songs have appeared in anime works such as My Hero Academia and Chainsaw Man. In particular, his opening for Chainsaw Man, “Kick Back,” was widely popular, appearing first on Oricon’s Weekly Chart and selling over 500,000 copies (physical and digital combined) in Japan.

Final Fantasy XVI will come out on the PS5 on July 22, 2023. It has a six-month exclusivity period for the PS5.
