Honkai: Star Rail Heading to GeForce Now

A Honkai: Star Rail GeForce Now release is on the way, as are the eventual additions of Diablo IV and Overwatch 2.

NVidia announced that Honkai: Star Rail will join the GeForce Now service. There’s no exact release date for it, but the company and HoYoVerse both noted it is “coming soon.”

As a reminder, GeForce Now is NVidia’s cloud gaming service. It allows people to stream games they own on PCs, mobile devices, and TVs. It also means not needing to patch. This means all someone would need for Honkai: Star Rail is an existing account for the game and to be part of GeForce Now, and when updates would appear they would automatically be ready whenever someone streams the game.

This will mark the second HoYoVerse game on GeForce Now. The first was Genshin Impact. It joined the service back in June 2023. The company didn’t note if Zenless Zone Zero, its next title, will also be a part of it. However, its previous game Honkai Impact 3rd isn’t a part of the library.

The Honkai: Star Rail announcement was one of multiple CES 2024 GeForce Now reveals. Activision Blizzard games like Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 will join the service as well. Like the HoYoVerse game, those are only listed as “coming soon.” People in Japan will also soon be able to start playing, and all users will also be able to buy Priority and Ultimate day passes starting in February 2024.

Honkai: Star Rail is available now on the PS5, PC, and mobile devices.
