HoYoVerse has posted detailed information on Xianyun in Genshin Impact. She will make her playable debut in Version 4.4 and you’ll be able to pull for her during the first half of the update.

The trailer shows Xianyun, or Cloud Retainer, from the eyes of her disciples—Ganyu and Shenhe—as well as from Zhongli’s perspective. She appears in her usual heron form throughout until Zhongli brings up how Xianyun used to manifest herself like a human. Paimon comments that they’ve never seen her human form before, before it cuts to Xianyun sneezing.
Xianyun will be a 5-star Anemo Catalyst in Genshin Impact. Her Skill lets her enter the Cloud Transmogrification state and she will no longer take fall DMG. Her Plunging Attack will be an AoE attack. While she’s in Cloud Transmogrification state, she can jump forward multiple times to get the height she needs for a Plunging Attack. Her Burst will deal AoE damage and heal allies based on her ATK. Characters in the party will be able to use Plunging Attacks like Xiao’s Burst. They will be able to jump higher while they have Starwicker stacks, and each Plunging Attack will deal AoE Anemo DMG.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Xianyun will debut in Genshin Impact Version 4.4, which will launch on January 31, 2024.
