Final Fantasy XIV Free Login Campaign Returns for February

Square Enix announced that the company has brought back the Free Login Campaign for Final Fantasy XIV. Starting from today until February 21, 2024 at 6:59am PT, eligible players will be able to log into the critically acclaimed MMORPG for free up to four days.

Players will have needed to purchase and registered Final Fantasy XIV previously, have service accounts that are currently inactive during the campaign period, and have been inactive for at least 30 days. One those three criteria are met, players will be able to start the launcher to begin their free login period. The free login period begins after logging in, and will end once the four days end regardless if the game has actually been played.

In the event there are there are multiple accounts tied to a single Square Enix account, only the inactive players are able to utilize the free login days. If there are multiple accounts tied to a single Square Enix account, only one account can redeem the free login days at a time. Players will have to wait until the first account's free days expire before redeeming the free login days for the next service account. Also, players whose accounts were cancelled or suspended due to violating the service agreement cannot redeem the free days.

Square Enix also clarified that free days cannot be stacked on top of a subscription for Final Fantasy XIV. If a player purchases a subscription, they are forfeiting their free days. Once the final day of the Final Fantasy XIV free login period ends, which will be at 11:59pm PT on the four day, players will need to purchase a subscription if they choose to continue to play.

The Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail expansion will release on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC in July 2024. FFXIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and the latest Free Login Campaign runs until February 21, 2024.
