Square Enix shared new Final Fantasy VII Remake concept art of Cloud wearing a dress for the Wall Market infiltration mission. This time, the concept art shared focuses on designs drawn during the early stages of development.
The post shared on the FFVII Remake social media account also mentioned that various other designs for the dresses were considered as well. One of them included a pure-white dress with a ribbon on the neck, and another option was described as a chic black dress.
The dresses shown in the new concept art are reminiscent of the original purple dress and red waist ribbon that Cloud wears in the original Final Fantasy VII.

Square Enix previously shared the concept art for two dresses that Cloud can wear in FFVII Remake, those being the most basic option, and the intermediate option. Concept art of one of Tifa’s dresses and two of Aerith’s dresses were also shared a while back.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is immediately available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Windows PC. FFVII Rebirth will come out on the PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024 and its exclusivity arrangement will end on May 29, 2024.
