FFVII Rebirth Live Broadcast Will Appear at Taipei Game Show

Square Enix announced that a new live developer broadcast focused on FFVII Rebirth will appear at the Taipei Game Show 2024. The broadcast will be held on January 27, 2024, at 2 pm JST. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

It is unclear what type of content will be showcased during the broadcast. Still, the company announced that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth co-director Motomu Toriyama and battle director Kouki Endo will appear on stage. It was also announced that the FFVII Rebirth broadcast will last 50 minutes and appear during the Bandai Namco Program slot of the Taipei Game Show event.

Square Enix has been ramping up marketing for FFVII Rebirth ahead of the game’s release. For example, the company recently released a new trailer for the game titled “Destined for Rebirth.” In addition, new screenshots showcasing various characters like Yuffie using her doppelganger attack, the remake version of Dyne, as well as Cloud’s date with Barret at the Gold Saucer.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will come out for the PlayStation 5 on February 29, 2024, with the exclusivity arrangement ending on May 29, 2024. FFVII Remake is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC, and FFVII Ever Crisis is available on PC and mobile devices.
