LOOP8: Summer of Gods is a "coming-of-age" JRPG with turn-based combat. Set in the rural Japanese village of Ashihara in the 1980s, players will control high schooler Nini as he befriends the local townsfolk. Originally from the space station "Hope", Nini possesses Demon Sight, which allows him to see the Underworld and its dangerous Kegai, who threaten humanity.

The game is the work of Touken Ranbu writer Yuri Shibamura, with character designs by Kizuna Ai's character designer, En Morikura. Producing the game is Seig Games CEO Yoichi Miyaji, who also produced Grandia and the Lunar series of games.

LOOP8: Summer of Gods will release on March 18, 2023, in Japan for the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One, and for PC via Steam on March 21, 2023. The international release window is Spring 2023. The game will cost 6,578 yen (about $44), and the Xbox One version will be available as a download-only title.
