Capcom Asks for Dragon’s Dogma Stories Ahead of Dragon’s Dogma 2

In preparation for the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 on March 22, 2024, Capcom is asking fans to share their stories and experiences playing the first Dragon’s Dogma title.

People can now go to X (formerly Twitter) and use the Japanese hashtag #DDあるある to submit stories of their own adventures on Dragon’s Dogma. The hashtag spells #DDaruaru, which roughly translates to “common Dragon’s Dogma occurrences.” Capcom will be accepting submissions for the stories between January 25 and February 14, 2024.

The original Dragon’s Dogma and its Dark Arisen expansion are well known among fans for their in-depth action-RPG combat and character creator, as well as for the fights against large-scale monsters and the elaborate physics system that sometimes resulted in monsters flinging characters around when grappling onto them.

In addition, the Dragon’s Dogma fan community is very fond of the relationship system present in the game, which can lead to some hilarious stories like finding out that your one true love is none other than the court jester.

Capcom recently showcased the new Trickster vocation in Dragon’s Dogma 2, a support-focused vocation that will allow players to create smoke walls and floors that enemies will mistake for solid terrain, which will surely lead to even more amusing situations.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on March 22, 2024.
