The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Air Bike

A model kit building YouTube channel recreated a miniature The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Air Bike vehicle using a 3D printer. The vehicle is also known as the Hover Bike. It is a fan-named invention that gained popularity shortly after the release of the game. [Thanks, Inside!]

The modeling artist @qshyj careful recreated and hand painted the Air Bike to look exactly how the Zonai device looks in-game. It features every detail, including the individual blades of each fan.

Additionally, by using clay or a putty-like substance, the artist managed to simulate the sticky substance that the Ultrahand ability produces when sticking elements together. Thanks to this, the video also shows the different variation and ways to build an Air Bike.

The reason for the Air Bike’s widespread use and popularity in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is due to its lightweight properties and efficient use of energy. Furthermore, this Hover Bike only requires two fans, and a steering stick, making it a cheap and easy option to use at any point in the game.

Additionally, the artist also recreated a 3D printed miniature of the decayed Master Sword and used clay to imitate Link’s Fuse ability in the game.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
