HoYoVerse shared the requirements to start the 2.0 Honkai: Star Rail Trailblaze Mission “Long Day’s Journey into Night.” It also listed the seven kinds of rewards people will earn for finishing it.
The requirements aren’t too restrictive for the first 2.0 Honkai: Star Rail Trailblaze Mission. You basically need to just be completely caught up with the campaign. That means you had to finish all of the Xianzhou Luofu Trailblaze Missions before you can “head” to the new world. If you already cleared the Karmic Clouds Faded, War Banners Folded “Obsequies Performed, A Long Road Ahead” mission, then you are good to go. You can immediately pick up “Long Day’s Journey into Night” and head to Penacony.
As for the rewards, they’re the typical ones we tend to get for Trailblaze Missions in the game. You’ll get some of the both types of currency, so Credits and Stellar Jades will be doled out. You’ll earn experience for your level too. There will be music acquired for the Astral Express jukebox. Finally, Lost Crystal, Refined Aether and Traveler’s Guide experience materials for Relics, Light Cones, and characters will be doled out. No increments were noted in the announcement.
In addition to the new story update and region, two new characters will join the cast in 2.0. The two new five-stars will be Black Swan and Sparkle, while Misha will be a four-star.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 2.0 update will arrive on February 6, 2024.
