Valorant Patch Notes For Massive Update: Overhauls To Rifle Accuracy, Adjusts Economy

Riot Games' popular first-person shooter Valorant has received its biggest update yet, which makes major changes to nearly every aspect of the game, from weapon accuracy to character abilities to buy costs. We've got the full patch notes below.

To start, the update reduces the time it takes for a rifle to become accurate again after being fired, which makes tap and burst-firing more effective across the board. It also make machine guns more accurate during periods of sustained fire. Additionally, the patch revamps several key chokepoints on the maps Split and Haven to give attackers more of an edge.

In terms of characters, the patch delivers substantial nerfs to the game's strongest kits, particularly healer Sage and the intel specialist Cypher. Sage's Slow Orb is now slightly shorter in duration, and it slows opponents significantly less than before. Cypher's Cyber Cage no longer slows enemies, and the cooldown on his Spycam has been increased by 50%.
