Following Sony's PS5 reveal event that focused mostly on next-gen games, developers have begun promoting their games in earnest. That includes Guerrilla Games, which released a new pair of screenshots for the upcoming PS5 exclusive Horizon Forbidden West. And gosh they're pretty.
Both shots say they were captured on PS5. This doesn't necessarily mean gameplay, because developers often squeeze extra juice out of a system for cutscenes. The game also isn't due until 2021, so the environments and lighting still have plenty of time and could change before release. Still, it's a nice view of the world.
The first screenshot shows the remains of a downed passenger jet that has been reclaimed by nature, with some pterodactyl-like machines flying nearby, and the second shows the protagonist Aloy looking out over a dry landscape.
