EA's big E3-style announcement event, EA Play Live 2020, brought a lot of news about Madden NFL 21 and FIFA 21, but the company's other big sports game--NHL 21--wasn't mentioned at all.
The game's community manager said on Twitter that there is no reason to worry. The game is coming, and it's expected to be the franchise's best skate forward yet, the developer said.
Although we’re not revealing #NHL21 today, we’re getting closer to showcasing the great work the @EASPORTSNHL team has been doing and will continue to drive towards creating the best NHL yet.

This is nothing new or unusual, as EA typically focuses on Madden and FIFA during its E3 events, and leaves NHL for a later date.
