EA has outlined its Positive Play Charter, a set of guidelines for users across all EA games, services, and platforms. This effort is to quell toxic behavior in the wake of the killing of George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter protests that followed.
The charter outlines the guidelines that players must follow while playing EA games. The four pillars are to treat others as they would like to be treated, keep things fair, share clean content, and follow local laws. The charter also outlines the consequences of not following the guidelines.

Players found violating the guidelines or EA's user agreement may have access restricted or revoked from specific services or receive a short-term ban from all services. Those with repeat or severe offenses will have their EA account terminated, meaning they will lose their username and access to the account.
