E3 2020 Cancellation: Here's How Square Enix Responded To The ESA's Decision

With the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) cancelling this year's E3 due to concerns over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Square Enix has commented on the ESA's decision.

Square Enix said on Twitter that while it's disappointed E3 2020 won't take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center this June, the company ultimately understands, respects, and "supports the ESA's decision to cancel E3 2020." Much like other companies--including Limited Run Games, Ubisoft, and Xbox--Square Enix is "exploring other options" to get whatever news it has planned to fans.
