Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War And Warzone Season One Gets Delayed

3 years 5 months ago

Though originally scheduled to arrive on December 10, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone will now get Season One content on December 16. The new season will be the largest free content drop in any Black Ops game, and there will be plenty of new goodies to try out across both titles.

Black Ops Cold War will be getting a ton of new multiplayer content, including new maps, the Gunfight mode from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and the Fireteam map Raid--it's based on the Black Ops 2 map of the same name, despite Black Ops Cold War being set several decades before that game. We saw previous rumors online that a classic map would be coming back, and this could be it.

Zombies mode gets in on the fun, as well, with more modes and challenges, and a seasonal prestige system that is cross-title. This means your progress will likely carry over into the next Call of Duty game. Especially if you are someone who keeps playing Call of Duty until the next year's game releases, that is very good news.
