No E3, no problem. The streams won't stop. Electronic Arts is about to kick off its EA Play Live 2020 presentation at 4:00 p.m. PT. If you wanna watch along with the Dtoid community, hey, stick around.
We're expecting appearances from Star Wars: Squadrons (gameplay this time), Apex Legends, Madden, other miscellaneous sports, another co-op romp from A Way Out creator Hazelight, and possibly other EA Originals. Will we hear a peep out of BioWare? I'm rooting for you, hopeful Dragon Age fans.
I suspect we'll have a few cool games to latch onto, but my expectations are muted after last year's extremely low-key EA Play stream. Any improvement over that format and runtime will be super appreciated, especially given the industry's multi-month not-E3 schedule. I hope it's a condensed show.
Worst case, it's fun to hang out again. I'm here, you're here – we're in this one together.
