Raw Fury announces intriguing fish adventure Call of the Sea

While some of what was revealed today during the Xbox Series X gameplay event was known, I'm perhaps most drawn to the siren's song of Call of the Sea.

Revealed by Raw Fury, who announced it for "Xbox One and Xbox Series X," it follows a researcher who seeks to uncover a secret on a deserted island and find her missing husband: that may or may not involve fish people. An "otherworldly adventure game set in the 1930s South Pacific" vibe? That's my aesthetic.

Developmental duties are being handled by indie studio Out of the Blue, and Cissy Jones (Firewatch) is handling voicework for the main character. Unsure of Out of the Blue? Here's their resume: "Out of the Blue is an independent game development studio comprised of 12 veteran game developers based in Spain, Greece and the U.S. who have individually worked on titles including Red Matter, Metroid Samus Returns, Deadlight, Gylt, Celeste, Guacamelee! 2 and Space Lords."

Wanna know why I called it a "fish adventure?" Wait until 1:00 in.
