Despite being a free-to-play game tied to a service that has a myriad of issues, Tetris 99 is still one of the best puzzle games on the market. The battle royale block dropper keeps itself relevant with Maximus Cup tournaments every month that provide new themes for players to collect, including last month's tourney which brought Ring Fit Adventure into the mix.
This month, however, Nintendo is serving it up animal style. Well, Animal Crossing style.
Beginning Friday, May 15 through Monday, May 18, the 13th Tetris 99 Maximus Cup will introduce the Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme. And it's heckin' cute.
