The First Berserker: Khazan Is A Single-Player Action RPG Set In the DNF Universe

4 months 1 week ago

Neople Nexon The First Berserker: Khazan Action Single-Player RPG Dungeon & Fighter

Dave the Diver publisher Nexon and developer Neople have revealed The First Berserker: Khazan, a single-player action RPG that is the next entry in the long-running Dungeon & Fighter universe. The First Berserker: Khazan stands in stark contrast to the most recent entry in this universe, DNF Duel, a multiplayer fighting game released last year

Neople says the DNF series combines the fast-paced, higher-energy action of old-school brawlers with classic RPG elements, all wrapped in an anime-esque art style. However, with The First Berserker: Khazan, players can expect hack 'n' slash combat and plenty of customization.

Check it out for yourself in The First Berserker: Khazan reveal trailer below

"The Pell Los Empire has been saved – at a cost," a press release reads. "After the Great General Khazan and Archmage Ozma defeat the Berserk Dragon Hismar and the Dragon Legion, players will step into the shoes of Khazan as he is falsely accused of treason and exiled beyond the empire."

Here's The Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Trailer From The Game Awards

4 months 1 week ago

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has been in development for a long time; by the time it comes out next year, it will have been nine years since Rocksteady's last game. But after years of secret development and repeated delays, it's finally around the corner, and The Game Awards just gave us our latest look. See for yourself in the trailer below:

The notion of killing the Justice League, some of the most powerful people in the DC universe, has always felt like an impossible task for the Suicide Squad, and the more we see of these corrupted superheroes, the harder it looks. This trailer gives us a look at Green Lantern's arsenal of hard light weaponry, the Flash's speed and lightning bolts, Wonder Woman's lasso of truth, and a shadowy Batman (which is potentially related to Scarecrow's fear gas, though that's just speculation).

Luckily, the Squad is equipped with a wide array of weapons and traversal techniques, making them way more mobile than they would normally be in the comics or movies. We get a good look at new gameplay of them swinging, soaring, and shooting as well, which you can experience solo with AI companions or online with friends.

But the best part of the new trailer? The release date hasn't changed. We can take on the Justice League next year on February 2.

Whispers in the Walls, in case you haven't been following along with Digital Extremes' previous showings, promises to reveal the "proverbial big bang" that kicked off every event in Warframe - and it all starts with the long-hidden (until the expansion's arrival, that is (laboratory of Albrecht Entrati, deep in the bowels of the planet Deimos.

Its feature list is a long one, promising the likes of new mission types, NPCs, bosses, factions, a new hub known as The Sanctum, and a new procedural tile set for Albrecht's aforementioned (and gothically gloomy) laboratory that serves as the expansion's primary new location.

Wondering what Hideo Kojima's been brewing between Strandings? Well, we finally have an answer - albeit an extremely enigmatic one - courtesy of a teaser for new Xbox horror game OD.

A Kojima horror has been rumoured for quite some time, of course, with reports surfacing last year that the Death Stranding creator was cooking up a little something called Overdose.

Jurassic Park Survival The Game Awards 2023

Jurassic Park fans got a nice surprise during The Game Awards with the reveal of a new game called Jurassic Park: Survival. The cinematic trailer shows a young woman named Dr. Maya Joshi, an InGen scientist left behind on Isla Nublar in the immediate aftermath of the first film – one day after the park collapses, in fact.

4 months 1 week ago

kemuri Ikumi Nakahara game

During TGA 2023, artist and video game director Ikumi Nakahara went on stage to reveal her new project called Kemuri. While the trailer shows the general concept and aesthetic behind the the game, it’s unclear what genre it’ll be.

You can watch the trailer here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCAX_eC3rOo

The trailer isn’t even a minute long. It shows an urban environment, showing its characters parkouring from the walls. They wield weapons like katanas and bows, with monsters appearing from the sky. After the monsters appear, more people wielding weapons show up. It looks like it’s either an action RPG or a multiplayer game similar to Overwatch. Though Unseen Inc does have a website, it does not have information on Kemuri, which looks to be the studio's first game. More information will come out in the future.

Hideo Kojima Is Making A New Game Called OD With Jordan Peele

4 months 1 week ago

Hideo Kojima, the director behind Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, and Jordan Peele, the director of movies such as Get Out and Nope, are making a new cloud-based project for Xbox Game Studios called OD Announced tonight during The Game Awards, the project also stars Sophia Lillis (It) and Hunter Schafer (Euphoria).

In typical Kojima fashion, the trailer doesn't illuminate much. We see several characters reading (and sometimes failing to do so) a tongue twister before Lillis' character screams in horror at what they see behind a door.

Talking onstage, Kojima was joined by Peele to mostly compliment each other's work. However, Kojima stressed OD is, in fact, a game. But it's also a movie. And apparently something unlike much else. Or so he says. Peele said it was "crazy." I lost the plot after a while.

Anyways, check it out for yourself:

OD isn't the only project Kojima is working on. His studio, Kojima Productions, is also developing a sequel to Death Stranding.
