Anno: Mutationem Delayed; PS5 Version Announced

Today developer ThinkingStars and publisher Lightning Games announced that Anno: Mutationem has been officially delayed.

The PS4 version of the charming pizel-art/3D hybrid game will now be released in Q3 2021 and will be joined by a brand new PS5 version.

The PC version doesn’t have a release window just now and ThinkingStars plans to reveal more details at a later date.

Basically, feedback from the demo gave the developers the signal that the game requires some more time in the oven.

If you’re unfamiliar with ANNO: Mutationem, it’s a  game in development by Chinese studio ThinkingStars announced last year and then showcased once again later in the summer. It was originally presented for PS4 under the umbrella of Sony’s China Hero Project.

After the release of the concept video of ANNO: Mutationem, the project quickly gained a lot of attention and support from a large number of players. And the continual communication and interaction with the players is also a typical feature of the ANNO: Mutationem team in their develop procedure.

From the abandoned ruins of a former giant city to the bustling street in the Metropolis. The developers of ANNO: Mutationem hope to provide a refreshing combat experience and rich exploration in the world of ANNO: Mutationem.”
