Bandai Namco confirmed that Cell Max will be coming to Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 in the next free update on March 23, 2023. This giant enemy from the movie Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero will appear as a new Raid Boss. Furthermore, the company shared previews of the new downloadable content coming to the game that same day.

As you can see in the video, Cell Max will be an exponentially large opponent and it will be possible to fight against him between multiple players. As in the movie, a new Awoken Skill: Beast will be available to defeat him. The apparition of Cell Max in Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 was previously teased during the Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2023.

In addition, the Cell Max suit will be available for avatars after the update. This free update will also bring 7 new variations for the CC Mascots, 51 new illustrations for the loading screens, 5 super souls, and 3 raid quests.

Also confirmed was the inclusion of Piccolo (Power Awakening) as the second playable character in the Hero of Justice Pack 2 DLC. Hero of Justice Pack 1 was previously released on November 10, 2022, and included the Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 suits, along with a new version of Gohan as a playable character.

People won’t get to start a new life in the next Story of Seasons game until June 2023. However, XSEED shared an additional trailer before then to help people prepare. There’s a new Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life trailer, as well as a picture of the Mukumuku yeti costume people can get for pre-ordering or buying a copy at launch.

Mukumuku should be a familiar face to returning Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life players, as the yeti showed up in the GameCube and PS2 versions of the game. People can meet the legendary creature by heading to the Goddess Pond in winter. If someone buys the game before July 5, 2023, they get the outfit for their avatar. The promotional image shows it on both a male and female avatar.

As for the Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life gameplay trailer, it focuses on actions on the farm in Forgotten Valley. We first see the town in spring, with the player character tending to some crops. After that, we get to see the avatar caring for a cow. From there, the video shows some of the townsfolk and sprites people will interact with.

Square Enix released a new Final Fantasy XVI gameplay video through the official Japanese Twitter account introducing Torgal. Torgal is a wolf that Clive and his brother Joshua adopted as a cub when they were kids. He is Clive’s loyal partner, and he can stand his ground in combat, proving a useful ally that can attack, extend combos, launch enemies, or even heal Clive.

Torgal is a special AI party member called a “Buddy.” He acts different from other party members that Clive will encounter, as he can receive a few set commands. These commands are Sic, Heal, and Ravage. Torgal will attack by biting the enemy when commanding him to Sic. Meanwhile, using Ravage can lead to a launcher for an extended air combo.

When combining these commands with Clive’s abilities, special combinations can be activated. As seen in the video, Clive launches a Fira spell and immediately after uses the Sic command. This makes Torgal lunge forward and perform a spinning aerial attack. After Clive follows-up by launching the enemy into the ground, he commands Torgal to Ravage, which leads to him performing a combo finisher and eliminating the enemy.

The particular combinations that appear on screen during this Final Fantasy XVI gameplay video are “Precision Sic” and “Punishing Sic.” Their activation is indicated by a sound stinger and Torgal’s icon in the bottom left of the UI lighting up.

While Tekken 8 doesn’t have a release date yet, Bandai Namco continues to share new trailers. This time, it’s a glimpse at two more returning cast members. The latest Tekken 8 video stars Lars Alexandersson, while also happening to confirm what Jack looks like in this entry too.

Lars is another member of the Mishima family, as Heihachi is his father and Kazuya is his half-brother. He first showed up in Tekken 6, and returned in games like Tekken 7 and Street Fighter x Tekken. In his new trailer, he’s referred to as “The Lion of the Rebellion.” As the focus of the video is on him, Jack mainly stands there to take his attacks so people can get a better idea of what his Tekken 8 moveset will look like.

During the March 2023 Capcom Spotlight, the company announced it would share free episodes of the Mega Man NT Warrior anime based on the Mega Man Battle Network games. Now, it started a marathon of those episodes on Twitch. It will run March 21, 2023 until March 24, 2023. After the Twitch marathon is over, they will then appear on YouTube for an undisclosed, limited time.

The presentation will kick off at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm CET. On each day this week, there will be episodes shown from 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm CET until 7pm PT/10pm ET/3am CET. The presentation will only involve the EXE and Axess episodes. That means people get to see the first two seasons of the Mega Man NT Warrior anime for free.

This is one of many ways Capcom is promoting the upcoming rerelease of Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. The manga is coming back in Japan. There’s also new art celebrating this spin-off series. Recurring Mega Man artist Keisuke Mizuno, who also worked on games in this series, contributed new art of Lan Hikari and MegaMan.EXE.

Tchia is a freeform sort of open-world game, which means it can sometimes be difficult to find where you’re supposed to go next. For example, after heading to the city in chapter two, you’ll be told to go to the campfire to rest after trying to meet Meavora. In case you’re having trouble finding it, here’s where the campfire near Aemoon is in Tchia.

The campfire you want to use in Tchia is on the shoreline southeast of Aemoon, nearly outside of the city. Head directly south from the secretary and office, until you hit the park. Then, turn left and head straight ahead, as though you’re going toward Xupi Macii on the map. Walk south along the shoreline and you’ll happen upon the campfire.

As a reminder, while at a campfire in Tchia a player can do multiple things. Someone can change her outfit. This involves her clothing, hairstyle face paint, and accessories. They can play her ukelele. You can sleep to advance time. It is also possible to eat to restore Tchia’s strength.

After resting at the campfire near Aemoon, you’ll learn about the Soul Throw mechanic, the story will advance, and the game will automatically send you toward Tchia’s next destination.

HoYoVerse releases a Collected Miscellany gameplay video for each new Genshin Impact character, and Mika is the latest entry. The new Cryo four-star is permanently joining the cast with the Ayaka and Shenhe banners on March 21, 2023. Now Dainsleif returns to narrate a guide showing exactly what the polearm user is capable of.

The trailer begins with a brief introduction explaining how the Knights of Favonius benefits from having a navigator and mapmaker like Mika around. There’s also a brief dig at Klee and her destructive tendencies. It also notes that his Utility Passive ties into that by marking Mondstadt resources on the map with Demarcation.

After that, the Genshin Impact Mika Collected Miscellany focuses on gameplay. It shows how his normal attacks rely on both his spear and the crossbow he carries. His charged attack is a lunging one. His Elemental Skill is Starfrost Swirl, which deals Cryo damage and also boosts everyone’s attack speed briefly. The Elemental Burst is Skyfeather Song, which regenerates health for allies based on Mika’s max health.

As a reminder, Mika is a focus unit on the Ayaka and Shenhe banner in Genshin Impact until April 11, 2023. After that, he’ll join the general pool of characters and be available at all times.

In chapter two of Tchia, players will learn about the Soul Melody feature after taking part in the Rock Balancing minigame with Tre. However, the game doesn’t teach you how to access her ukulele or begin playing instruments. It isn't like you can open her backpack and select the instrument. So you don’t need to check menus, here’s how it works.

When standing around, press right on the controller’s directional pad. This will bring up the Soul Melody feature in Tchia, as well as show you the ones you learned so far. Taking part in that first minigame with Tre will net you four songs of the 14 Tchia can eventually learn. You’ll pick up Time: Dawn, Time: Noon, Time: Dusk, and Time: Midnight.

The first Soul Melody you’ll need to play in Tchia is Time: Midnight. The earlier rhythm minigame introduced you how playing a ukulele works. Hold the left analog stick in the direction of the correct note, then press X on your controller to play it. To play Time: Midnight, you will need to hit B, E, E, D.

Tchia is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. It is also on PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium.

Kodansha will launch a US-exclusive manga distribution called K Manga in May 2023. K Manga users will be able to have early exclusive access to new chapters, as well as read manga from the company's current catalog. The official launch date of the app will be May 10, 2023. As for the website launch, more information on that date will appear later.

There will be a total of four hundred titles available when K Manga launches. 70 of these titles will be ongoing ones. It will be a paid service, but users will be able to read certain manga series for free. There is a limit on how much you can read per day, though. Some manga series that will be readily available on the service include BLUELOCK, Rent-A-Girlfriend, The Seven Deadly Sin: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro.

Since this is Kodansha’s official app, it will obviously use the official Kodansha translations. It appears that it will be an in-house project as well. Kodansha’s editorial team, which is also in charge of editing and producing the manga series the company has licensed, is the one that will manage K Manga.

The K Manga app will launch on May 10, 2023.

At the beginning of chapter two in Tchia, the first quest is to find two pearls for Tre for coutume to show appreciation for his help. However, you’re on a home floating in the middle of the ocean and, if you didn’t pick up the stamina-increase near Tchia’s home island, you might have drowned trying to find these items. While it can be a bit tricky, since the game doesn’t tell you how to find them, it isn’t too difficult.

You want to have Tchia jump into the ocean and dive to get the pearls for coutume. When she’s in the water, press X to descend and hold it until you reach the bottom. You’re looking for a big, pink clam. One is under Tre’s house, in the middle of the ocean floor. When you get close, you’ll see a white, circular indicator. The name “Clam Pearl” will also show up above it. Press the square button on a PS4 or PS5 controller to get it.

However, be careful! Tchia runs out of stamina quite quickly when diving underwater for pearls. You want to have at least six or seven stamina for your ascent back to the surface, or she will drown. She can float on the top of the water and swim without using stamina, so take advantage of that.

In Paranormasight, you experience the story of three different curse bearers who are involved in a battle royale over the Rite of Resurrection. While the story unfolds over their differing perspectives, one of them perfectly exemplifies the game’s themes and what it wants to say. Harue is, even though she is perhaps not the main protagonist, definitely the strongest of all the characters in Paranormasight.

Let’s quickly go over the three main playable characters in Paranormasight. Tsutsumi is a police officer who wants to stop the Rite of Resurrection. So he goes around collecting curse stones from everyone. Yakko is a high school student whose former best friend recently committed suicide. Her discovery of her friend’s tragic secrets makes her want to use the Rite of Resurrection to try and bring her back. However, her friend Mio and Tsutsumi both convince Yakko not to go through with it. Harue is a mother whose family is distant and her son was recently murdered. She hires private investigator Richter to find out who killed her son and then, after she gets her curse stone, to track down fellow curse bearers.

Square Enix once again took to Twitter to discuss details about Final Fantasy. This time, it went over the weapons Yuffie and Sonon wield in the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission storyline. It showed concept art of all four of Yuffie’s and the three Sonon can end up using. In the case of Yuffie’s, it also showed how the Kisaragi emblem ends up featured on them.

First, here’s a closer look at the Yuffie Final Fantasy VII Remake Intermission weapons. From left to right, there’s the 4-Point Shuriken, the Steel Reaper, the Boomerang, and the Cacstar. The 4-Point Shuriken is her starting weapon in the side-story. The appearance of the Kisaragi Emblem is especially clear in the 2D concept art. It appears on one of the shuriken’s blades, in the center of the Steel Reaper, in the center of the Boomerang, and on the Cacstar’s “belt.”

Like with a good majority of support characters in Genshin Impact, you really only need to prioritize a few certain factors when choosing a weapon for Yaoyao. You can either choose to focus on how often she can use her Burst or how efficient her Burst is per use. This guide will give you a few options on what spears would work best for Yaoyao as a support.

Before we begin, let’s quickly go over how Yaoyao works. Both her Skill and her Burst deal Dendro DMG while simultaneously healing her allies. This makes her a wonderful support for the large majority of DPS characters due to Dendro’s powerful Elemental Reactions. Since her Elemental Bust is fairly expensive for a support character, Yaoyao needs weapons that can help her with her Energy Recharge. Some Polearms you can consider are:

Staff of Homa

This is kind of ridiculous because Staff of Homa is a great spear for your DPS but hear me out. Yaoyao’s healing scales off of her Max HP, and Staff of Homa boosts that by 20%. To make the most of her Elemental Burst, Yaoyao also needs to remain on the field. This is because swapping her off will remove the Yueguis that she summons. Staff of Homa makes Yaoyao far more versatile. You can either keep her on the field during her Burst as the main DPS or you can just enjoy the 20% HP boost and keep her in a healer role.

Staff of the Scarlet Sands

People won’t be able to see Hololive EN Council’s Nanashi Mumei performing for a bit. Following Hololive Super Expo 2023, she announced a temporary break. The Vtuber is taking a health-related hiatus. She noted this is a health-related time out and that she hopes to return in two weeks.

As a reminder, the Vtuber did perform at Hololive Super Expo 2023. She took part in the first day’s worth of concerts during Hololive 4th fes on March 18, 2023. She performed “My Dearest” on her own. After that, she sang “Suki-chan” with Amelia Watson, Ninomae Ina’nis, and Kiara Takanashi.

Mika Pikazo, the artist behind the Hololive 4th Fes Vtuber idol outfit designs, shared additional art of different performers during the event. Both ahead of and during the event, she shared designs of different members of Hololive, Hololive EN, and Hololive EN in their costumes. Many of the images are also the right dimensions to be used as mobile wallpapers. Previously, Pikazo did the character designs for the Fire Emblem Engage cast.

Netflix announced it will feature six events at Anime Japan at Tokyo Big Sight between March 25-26, 2023. It announced on Twitter that it will be share livestreams on March 25-26, 2023. You can watch both days of the event on YouTube. There is a placeholder for the first day and the second day online. The event will feature English subtitles. There will also be a Netflix Nijisanji after-party with two Vtubers.

Paldea Pokemon toys will appear in the “Pokemon Kids” collection of snacks. They will be part of the “Armarouge and Ceruledge” version. Packs will cost 220 JPY, or $1.65 each. Every time you buy a Pokemon Kids snack, you get a soda-flavor gum and a random small Pokemon toy. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The “Armarouge and Ceruledge” collection of Pokemon Kids snacks will come with fifteen new Pokemon. You’ll be able to find them in various snack stores and such around Japan from August 2023. The fifteen new Pokemon will be:

The United Kingdom Pokemon Center website is now selling Snorlax and Togepi Squishmallow plush. Neither one appeared on the website for the United States yet. Each one is a 12 inch model, just like the original Gengar and Pikachu variants. They are £25.99 each.

Square Enix announced that it will be upgrading the hardware used for Final Fantasy XIV North American data centers. This change will be made in preparation for future updates. A 24-hour maintenance period will be performed for safekeeping starting April 3, 2023.

The replacement of the hardware used for Final Fantasy XIV's North American data centers is being done to optimize the player experience for future updates, the company stated. However, the physical location of the data centers will remain the same, while all the data will be automatically transferred.

Square Enix will transfer all data center information to the new hardware during an extended maintenance period that will be performed from Monday, April 3, 2023 at 3am PT/6am ET to April 4, 2023 at 3am PT/6am ET. This date will also coincide with the arrival of patch 6.38 to Final Fantasy XIV. Specifically, the data centers that will receive the maintenance will be Aether, Crystal, Primal, and the most recent one, Dynamis, which arrived earlier with patch 6.28. In addition, there will be no change to the data center selection screens or the login process.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse is a game that throws a lot of murderous ghosts at you. Just like in previous Fatal Frame titles, a terrible ritual left an entire island riddled with the spirits of the dead thanks to the presence of a strange illness known as Moonlight Syndrome. While most of these ghosts are scary and stressful to fight, some of them are just that little bit more terrifying. Whether it’s their appearance, their backstory or a uniquely difficult attack pattern, these ghosts are the scariest that Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse has to offer.

Yuko Magaki

Yuko Magaki was one of the patients at the Rogetsu Hall mental health facility. In life, he was a painter whose work got more disturbing as he succumbed to Moonlight Syndrome. Room 309, his room during his stay, is covered in these paintings, including a huge one on the floor of a faceless woman.

What makes him especially unpleasant to fight is how he’s always crawling around on the floor, swiping at your ankles. It’s also not clear why he refuses to stand up, making him that much more unnerving.

Neowiz and Gree Entertainment will develop a new mobage based on Danmachi, or Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. Players from around the world will be able to play it. The one exception to this will be China. [Thanks, GameBiz!]

The name of the game is unknown, as is the genre. According to Seung-Chul Kim, the representative and Co-CEO of Neowiz, the companies will work hard to create a game that is full of the original IP’s fun and excitement. The reason why they decided to create a game based on Danmachi is because of how much global interest there is in the series. More information on the Danmachi mobage will appear some time in the future.

Danmachi, or Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, is a light novel, manga, and anime series. Aside from the one that Neowiz and Gree Entertainment are working on, there are two games based on the series. They are Infinite Combate and Memoria Freese. It follows the story of adventurer Bell Cranel, who is the sole member of the Hestia Familia. He and his companions explore the Dungeon, an underground labyrinth, to defeat monsters and collect shards.

The Danmachi mobage is in development.

Cygames announced a collaboration between Shadowverse and Hatsune Miku. It will run from March 27, 2023 to April 27, 2023. For a limited time, you will be able to get Hatsune Miku as a leader or a premium card. She will be part of the Academy of Ages card pack. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

Saki Fujita will still be the voice for Hatsune Miku. Aside from providing the voice for the Miku voice bank, Fujita previously voiced Ymir in Attack on Titan and Akagi in Kantai Collection. You can set Miku as a leader for the Forestcraft class, and she will have her own special animation. Aside from that, you will be able to get a premium title, premium sleeves, and an emblem.

It is difficult to judge from the video but it appears that Cygames tuned the Hatsune Miku voicebank instead of asking Fujita in to say the lines. You can see in the trailer how Miku looks like as a leader, as well as her special animation. Since the Shadowverse website says Miku and friends, other Vocaloid characters might appear in this collaboration. In the Uma Musume crossover, for example, there were around three characters.

A live-action Cells At Work movie is in development. Hideki Takeuchi will be the director and Yuichi Tokunaga will be the writer. These two previously worked together on the 2019 movie for Fly Me to the Saitama. More information on the cast and release date, as well as a trailer, will appear in the future. [Thanks, LiveDoor!]

Warner Bros. will be the distributor. This will be a major project for the company, as 2023 is the 100th anniversary of its founding. Aside from Fly Me to the Saitama ($3.7 billion), Takeuchi also worked on Nodame Cantabile ($7.8 billion for the movie; he also directed the show) and Thermae Romae ($10.4 billion). In the case of Thermae Romae, he won an award for Best Director during the 2021 Japan Academy Awards. These accomplishments are likely the reasons why Takeuchi was chosen to be the director for the Cells At Work project.

Sega announced that its first free Sonic Frontiers update, which will add things like challenge modes and a photo mode, will launch on March 22, 2023. There are four main additions coming alongside the Sights, Sounds, and Speed patch. Battle Rush and Cyber Space Challenge will be post-game challenge modes. Photo Mode will be available immediately. There will also be a Jukebox.

With Battle Rush and Cyber Space Challenge, both are accessed outside the main game. After beating it, both will be in the main menu. Battle Rush is a boss rush-like experience involving opponents like Guardians and Titans. Cyber Space Challenge behaves similarly, only with multiple stages being challenged one after the other.

The Jukebox and Photo Mode can both be accessed in-game after getting the free Sonic Frontiers March update. People have 13 songs right away and can find 40 more Sound Memories on Starfall Islands to get more. The Photo Mode is tied to the pause menu. It lets you move, lower, raise, and rotate the camera, adjust its zoom or tilt, change its speed, apply filters, and apply a grid.

Sonic Frontiers is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and its Sights, Sounds, and Speed update arrives on March 22, 2023.

Two well-known Japanese bands will soon release Naruto and Gintama music videos. The Naruto music video will come from Asian Kung-Fu Generation. Meanwhile, the Gintama music video will come from DOES.  The videos will appear on March 26, 2023. [Thanks, Comic Natalie!]

According to details published in Weekly Shonen Jump, the project is a collaboration between Weekly Shonen Jump and Sony Music Entertainment. Called "Jump MV" (for "music video"), the series will pair original animation featuring manga published in Weekly Shonen Jump with music from SME-managed musicians. The Naruto and Gintama music videos are part of the "Anime Theme Song" series, and will pair art from the manga with songs by the bands that were used as themes for their respective anime adaptations.

Previews of the art used in the music videos were also shared.

Uniqlo updated its official site to open sales for its new collection of Splatoon 3 shirts. This selection includes 10 designs. Four are unisex adult styles. The remaining six are made for children. The product landing page noted people should be able to both find them online and in retail stores. As a reminder, it previously announced the items for Japan. 14 styles will appear there on March 24, 2023.

The unisex adult Splatoon 3 Uniqlo shirts are available in XXS through XXXL. They cost $24.90 each. The four designs include imagery that includes in-game brand logos, Inklings and Octolings in their squid and octopus forms, characters like Judd, and the game logo.

The kids shirts are $14.90 each. They appear in sizes 3-4Y, 5-6Y, 7-8Y, 9-10Y, 11-12Y, and 13Y. Of those, two are identical to the adult designs and one is very similar. The other three are unique designs especially for children with various icons and characters like Lil’ Judd.

The next Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Tera Raid will involve Blissey. If people check the in-game announcements, there’s one noting the event will start on March 24, 2023. This will be a chance to not only get the character with different Tera Types, but also to get more Tera Shards and Exp. items.

The Blissey Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet will be five-star ones. This means people won’t need to have finished the game or post-game activities to access them. With the rewards, it isn’t guaranteed that someone will get more Tera Shards than usual. However, the wording in the announcement does mention “bonus Exp. candies” regardless. However, if someone’s Blissey raid does involve extra Tera Shards, it means they will be from multiple types, rather than just the type that Blissey is.

This also means the Blissey event will be running at the same time as the second part of the Decidueye Tera Raid. The second part of that will take place March 24-27, 2023. (The first happened March 17-20, 2023.) That involved a seven-star one with a mark that would be a Flying Tera Type.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for the Nintendo Switch, and the Blissey Tera Raids run March 24-26, 2023.

Square Enix announced Hatching-tide, the Final Fantasy XIV event inspired by Easter and spring, will begin on March 27, 2023. The annual activity always involves eggs and seasonal activities. This year, the rewards will be a Tonberry-themed costume for FFXIV avatars, a Frighten emote, and cosmetic items.

This year, people will need to stop by Old Gridania and meet with Jihli Aliapoh at X:10.2, Y:9.4. Once there, they can kick off “Get Along and Play Knife” if they are at level 15. Taking part means eventually earning the following items:

• Hippity-hoppity Hatching-tide Advertisement Wall-mounted Furnishing
• Pa-Paya Demastered Orchestrion Roll
• Tonberry Body
• Tonberry Boots

As usual, some past items will be able to get in-game. These will be found at the Dreamer.

To remind people, there were four possible rewards for the Final Fantasy XIV Hatching-tide Easter event as well. People were able to earn the “Eat Egg” emote, a Hatching Bunny minion, and items for their in-game home. It is unknown yet if these will be available at the Dreamer for the 2023 event.

New episodes of the NieR Automata anime will be delayed yet again. Like the previous postponement, this is due to COVID-19 forcing the animation studio to suffer a schedule slip during production. As a result, the team decided to postpone episodes 9 and beyond. As for when the show will return, viewers will need to check the NieR Automata Ver1.1a social media accounts.

The first time the NieR Automata anime was delayed happened during late January 2023. At the time, the committee postponed episodes 4 and beyond. In Japan, it re-ran the first three episodes during the show’s usual time slot. However, in mid-February 2023, the show returned. Thus it may be likely that this hiatus will not be for a very long time. Of course, it is hard to say for certain since there is no telling how much the committee had already worked on behind the scenes.

NieR Automata Ver1.1a is an anime adaptation of the popular NieR Automata game. Though it has similar story beats, there are a few differences between the show and the source material. For example, Lily has taken up Anemone’s place as the leader of the Resistance androids.

NieR Automata Ver1.1a is available on streaming services such as Netflix. It is unknown when the hiatus for the NieR Automata will end.

A new key visual came out for the One Piece on Ice ice show. We also now know what part of the series the ice show will cover, which is the Alabasta arc, as well as dates. You will be able to watch it in Yokohama during August 2023. After that, the show will be available in Nagoya in September 2023. [Thanks, Game Watch!]

The key visual shows Luffy on a pair of ice skates. Eiichiro Oda, who is both the creator and mangaka for One Piece, was the one who drew it. The One Piece on Ice ice show will adapt the “Episode of Alabasta,” or One Piece Movie: The Desert Princess and the Pirates: Adventures in Alabasta. This movie came out in 2007 and is essentially a re-telling of the Alabasta arc with a few differences. For example, Smoker, Tashigi, and Ace do not appear in the movie. This means that the three of them might not be part of the ice show.

In early March 2023, news came out of a figure-skating show based on the One Piece franchise. This is the very first time that there has been an ice show for it. That might be why the staff chose to adapt Alabasta, which was the first major story arc in the series. Time will tell if there will be future One Piece figure-skating shows adapting other arcs.

The 3-Nen Z-Gumi Ginpachi-sensei spin-off novel of Gintama will appear as an anime. You can watch the trailer for it on the Gintama YouTube channel. Those who watched the show might already be familiar with the characters and AU that Ginpachi-sensei is, since there were occasionally segments of it after the credits. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

The trailer for Ginpachi-sensei brings Gintoki and Ginpachi together in a short skit sequence. Tomokazu Sugita, who voiced Gintoki in Gintama, reprised his role for both. In classic Gintama fashion, the trailer parodies both Spy x Family and Jujutsu Kaisen due to their popularity and success. At the end, Gintoki expresses shock and disbelief that Ginpachi is going to be the one who becomes the protagonist of the new anime and not himself.

The original 3-Nen Z-Gumi Ginpachi-sensei debuted in 2006, and it ended in 2018. It features Ginpachi Sakata as a school teacher of the titular 3-Z class. Characters like the Yorozuya and Shinsengumi are members of the class, even though a good portion of them do not even look like high school students anymore.

According to some comments on the Blizzard forums, Diablo IV is causing some 3080 cards to literally burn and die. Most players who have reported the same have RTX 3080 Ti, which implies that the issue has to do with the graphics card. Players noted that a certain cutscene with flowers and a snowy landscape tends to be the problem location.

While some players have noted that their graphics cards are fine, they did report that the above cutscene caused issues for their computer. They got around it by forcibly resetting the PC or skipping the cutscene, which implies that the issue has to do with Diablo IV and not just the graphics cards. Some other players with 3080 graphics cards have reported little issues. They have suggested that Diablo IV is not the problem. Rather, their computers had pre-existing issues and they happened to brick while playing Diablo IV.

While Diablo IV is not out yet, the early-access beta is. Aside from the above issues with the graphics, some players weren’t even able to play the game. Fans complained about long queue times over the weekend. Blizzard asked players to remain in the queue so as to not reset their timers, though some players had complained about waiting for hours.

Diablo IV is in development and will come out on June 6, 2023 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC.

The story in Atelier Ryza is drawing to a close, even though an anime is about to offer a new take on the tale. People spent four years watching Ryza and her friends grow up since the original game's 2019 debut. Now, we're seeing where the characters' journeys will bring them with Atelier Ryza 3 acting as an ending. To help understand what to expect, Siliconera caught up with Gust Executive Officer Junzo Hosoi to talk about the game.

Jenni Lada: When did Atelier Ryza 3 development begin and did you always knew it would become a trilogy?

Junzo Hosoi: The planning of Atelier Ryza 3 began right after the release of Atelier Ryza 2. When we began drafting the idea of Atelier Ryza, I always had the thought of wanting the Secret series to conclude as a trilogy.

However, whether it actually became a two-part series or would continue as a trilogy was something we thought to decide upon only after seeing the players reactions to the game.

Given we’ve followed many of the characters in Atelier Ryza 3 for years now and seen them grown, how did that affect development for each one’s personal story arcs?

An animated commercial for Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake remakes a classic of its own. The new Resident Evil 4 anime promo is a brief clip starring Leon and the Ganados. Called Resident Evil Masterpiece Theater, it evokes the animation style and aesthetic of old classical anime series, like Nippon Animation's World Masterpiece Theater or the films of Studio Ghibli.

In the clip, Leon attempts to ask a few villagers after Ashley's whereabouts, but receives the culture shock of his life (and death). Besides the Ganados, Ashley, and Leon, a few other characters from Resident Evil 4 show up in the brief anime clip. These include the Colmillos tentacle-dog, a cultist waving an axe from their neck-tentacles, the claw-wielding Garrador villain, and even the fame Chainsaw Man. The episode even ends with a cheeky sponsor message using the format familiar to many people watching the TV broadcasts of anime episodes.

Hololive Prodcution VTuber Haato Akai (also known as Haachama) will be suspending her activities temporarily. The announcement comes via a post on her official account. According to the post, which is attributed to her manager, the decision for Haato Akai to go on hiatus was made due to the performer's "poor physical condition."

The announcement of Haato Akai going on hiatus comes only days after she appeared during the Hololive 4th fes live concert, which took place on March 18, 2023. She was originally supposed to perform at the concert, as well as participate during the Hololive Super Expo 2023 stage show. However, after an announcement on her Twitter account, the stage show appearance was canceled so Haato could "put her all" into the concert. Her health was a similarly motivating factor for that decision. In both cases responses to the announcement were generally supportive, with fans encouraging Haato to recover and rest as needed.

In Genshin Impact, Yaoyao is a Dendro Polearm character who specializes in support. Now, you obviously can build her as a DPS or a sub-DPS if you wish. But generally speaking, her kit makes her a great Dendro applier and healer, which means she has a certain amount of flexibility when it comes to who you want to run her with. Here are some Artifacts that you can put on your Yaoyao in Genshin Impact to maximize her potential as a support!

4-PC Deepwood Memories

Deepwood Memories is the Artifact set to have when you have a Dendro character on your team. The 2-PC effect increases the character’s Dendro DMG by 15% and the 4-PC set decreases the target’s Dendro RES by 30%. If you run Yaoyao as a support to a Dendro DPS like Alhaitham or if you’re using her to apply Dendro for Elemental Reactions, then this is a great set for her. The full Deepwood Memories set will allow her or her teammates to make the most of Dendro’s extremely powerful Reactions.

2-PC Tenacity of the Millelith + 2-PC EM

Specializations in Diablo IV allow for players to obtain additional passives for their class of choice. These passives can potentially change the way players approach combat, with some of these abilities adding Combo Points to Core Skills. Or even go so far as to provide unlimited energy for brief periods of time when certain conditions are met. These are something players will want to immediately unlock when given the chance.

Players can unlock Specializations in Diablo IV starting at level 15. Upon reaching level 15, access the character screen and navigate to the newly appeared Specializations menu. Select the first Specialization to track the corresponding quest on your quest tracker located on the right-hand side of the screen. After completing this quest, you will receive Specializations upon reaching specific levels.

This includes:

• First Specialization - Level 15
• Second Specialization - Level 20
• Third Specialization - Level 30

The Windblume's Breath event, or the Windblume Festival, is back in town in Genshin Impact. Like most Mondstadt events, it is a very feel-good time all around. This is obviously a great thing, especially after the most recent Archon Quest. This Windblume Festival is special too, since is focuses mostly on Sumeru characters rather than Mondstadt ones. Not only does it conclude Collei's personal story in a satisfying manner, but it also introduces new additions to the greater lore of Genshin Impact.

The Windblume's Breath event in Genshin Impact centers around Collei. The Traveler and the others watch as she struggles to become her ideal self. Her anxieties around her social skills and what kind of person she is felt really relatable. It’s sweet of Sucrose, who suffers from very similar issues, to be the one to reach out to Collei. However, I found it unfortunate that despite Collei’s history with Amber, they didn't really interact with each other. Even so, Collei's development as she comes into her own person was very nice to watch. Rather than continuing to emulate Amber, she grows into a better version of herself, committing herself to helping others the way that Tighnari, Cyno, and the people of Mondstadt have helped her. This is a great event for Collei fans! I'm sure that there are some people who became fans of her because of this event, too.

Like in Diablo III, players can elect to re-roll item passives in Diablo IV. This is done by speaking to the Occultist in Kyovashad or any city that features this kind of NPC. The Occultist in Diablo IV has a plethora of uses, which includes both Extracting and Imprinting Aspects onto gear, but it can also allow you to re-roll item passives. The specific tab you need to navigate to in order to obtain new passives is the "Enchant Item" option.

Simply place the item you wish to change a passive on into the appropriate slot and you can re-roll the selected slot at random. This will, however, bind the item to your account. That means you will not be able to trade it to other players. Also, you can only choose to re-roll a single passive on an item. This means that you cannot change all of the passive stats on an item and instead can only pick one. This passive can be re-rolled an infinite amount of times, but will cost significantly more gold every time you choose to enchant.

On day two of Hololive Super Expo 2023, Cover announced it is preparing a Blue Journey music project and shared a teaser video noting “summer is coming” with the #HololiveSummer2023 hashtag. The former has its own YouTube channel and will debut in April 2023. The latter only has a summer 2023 release window and brief animation.

With the Hololive Blue Journey music project, there’s already a teaser video. It suggests there will be some darker, more melancholy songs from Vtubers on the way. It also shows off the logo for this offshoot will look and teases some of the songs we might hear. For example, at the very end are the phrases, “I’m alone,” “I wanted to be you,” and “to our past selves.”

The Hololive “summer is coming” teaser for a 2023 project is a bit more vague. However, the video does offer a hint aside from it being something associated with the season. There are three Vtubers shown. All of them belong to different branches of the company. First we see Tokino Sora, who is from the Japanese branch and is the company’s first ever Vtuber. After that, the camera pans out to show Moona Hoshinova, from Hololive ID, is sitting next to her. The segment comes to a close with the Hololive EN member Gawr Gura showing up. This means that it will involve every Hololive branch.
