As of December 31, 2021 net sales for Capcom have risen by 35.9 percent. Additionally, operating income for the company has risen by 43.9 percent during its third quarter. Resident Evil Village and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin are explicitly mentioned within the financial report. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

During this period, sales for video games exceeded 25.8 million units. Additionally, due to other endeavors, Capcom has now reached its highest net sales and highest level of all profit items at the end of a third quarter within the company's history. For this reason, Capcom has decided to keep its business forecast the same.

Other titles that contributed to Capcom's continued to success include Resident Evil 7, which surpassed 10 million units in sales in October 2021. The company also notes that its continued success at award shows have stimulated growth for its titles. This includes Resident Evil Village, and the wildly successful Monster Hunter Rise. Additionally, Capcom states that its mobile division also contributed in generating profits for the company.
