When Does Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Come Out?

1 year 10 months ago

BioWare’s upcoming fantasy RPG Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is coming to PC and consoles, and will put a large focus on Solas, the Dread Wolf… as the name suggests. With it having been nearly eight years since the last entry in the series, it should come as no surprise that fans are wondering when does Dragon Age: Dreadwolf come out? And in this guide, we’ve got everything you need to know about it so far.

What Is the Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Release Date?

At the time of writing, BioWare hasn’t announced an official release date for Dreadwolf. However, it has been confirmed that Dreadwolf won’t be releasing this year (2022).

The news was shared in a blog post which revealed the game’s name, and also mentioned that while the game won’t release in 2022, “we’re growing closer to that next adventure. Rest assured, Solas is placing his pieces on the board as we speak.”

BioWare did note that more information on the game would be coming later this year, so maybe just maybe, we’ll get a Dragon Age: Dreadwolf release date at The Game Awards in December. This is by no means confirmed, as instead, we might get a gameplay trailer at any other point in the rest of the year. We’re just speculating… though it would line up rather conveniently if you ask us.

Arena Skater Rollerdrome Is Coming to PS4, PS5, & PC August 2022

1 year 10 months ago

One of the surprise indie titles that turned heads at Sony’s State of Play today was Rollerdrome, which is coming digitally to PS4, PS5, and PC on Aug. 16, 2022. The game is a single-player third-person action shooter that blends pulling off fluid tricks and flips across a skating arena with adrenaline-pumping gunplay combat.

Source: YouTube

Developed by Roll7, Rollerdrome is right up the alley for any Jet Set Radio fans looking to feel the void. The game is set in 2030, where corporate overlords reign supreme and “the lines between reality and performance are blurred.” The public is oblivious to the dark secrets of the corporations since everyone’s eyes are on the violent new blood sport: Rollerdrome. Become the champion of the vicious sport and unravel the true intentions of the corporations.

Gameplay boils down to dominating the skate arena by grinding or sliding around through fast and sometimes slow-motion visceral combat. If players can land kills, they can get some health back and by sticking the landings for tricks, gun ammunition will get refilled. With a banger original soundtrack and a colorful comic-book art style, Rollerdrome seems to be a sick title to keep eyes on for those looking for a fun ride.

Tunic Is Coming to PS4 and PS5 This Fall

1 year 10 months ago

During today’s Sony State of Play presentation, we learned that Tunic, the indie action-adventure game featuring an anthropomorphic fox, will be coming to the Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 later this year.

Tunic, developed by Finji, was released on PC and Xbox earlier this year in March and was praised for its mysterious world, compelling gameplay, excellent soundtrack, and charming art style. You can read our full review of the game on PC right here.

One thing that really sets Tunic apart from other Zelda-like isometric adventure games is the gimmick of finding instruction manual pages that offer important pieces of information and hidden secrets to help you explore the world. The artwork alone is incentive enough to collect all of the pages.

Here is how developer Finji describes Tunic:

Explore a land filled with lost legends, ancient powers, and ferocious monsters in TUNIC, an isometric action game about a small fox on a big adventure. Stranded on a mysterious beach, armed with only your own curiosity, you will confront colossal beasts, collect strange and powerful items, and unravel long-lost secrets.

Tunic will be released on PS4 and PS5 later this year on September 27.

Stray Gets New Gameplay Trailer and July Release Date

1 year 10 months ago

During today’s Sony State of Play presentation, we got a new look at Annapurna Interactive’s upcoming game Stray with a trailer featuring gameplay as well as a release date. Stray will release next month on July 19.

The trailer, which was approximately a minute and a half in length, mostly showed off gameplay. We got a clear look at how we’ll play as a cat that is trying to return to his family in a futuristic cyberpunk world.

As the cat, we’ll be able to scale rooftops, hitch a ride on a boat, and find creative ways to navigate the dangerous city from a third-person (third-cat?) perspective. We also see some stealth elements in the game, such as hiding in boxes and other trash to evade dangerous foes.

The city is populated by robots and machines, some of which pose a threat to our cat character. But not all of them are dangerous; we’ll be accompanied by a drone-like guardian named B-12, who provides help by translating robot languages and storing items.

All throughout this journey to be reunited with family, we’ll need to uncover an ancient mystery that haunts the cybercity world.

Stray will release on PS4, PS5, and PC next month on July 19. Playstation Plus Extra, Deluxe, and Premium members will be able to download and play the game at no extra cost.

No Man’s Sky Announced for PSVR 2

1 year 10 months ago

During Sony’s PlayStation State of Play online showcase today, Hello Games’ space-faring explore-’em-up, No Man’s Sky, was announced to be coming to PSVR 2.

Go ahead and feast your eyes on the new trailer down below:

Originally released back in 2016, the highly-anticipated first-person experience boasted incredibly impressive procedural generation, featuring over 18 quintillion planets. While the game launched to a middling critical response, the UK-based studio has turned the title’s reputation around thanks to a consistent flow of free updates and expansions.

It’s worth noting that No Man’s Sky currently runs on Sony’s current-gen PSVR unit on PS4, though its next-gen PSVR 2 brethren will likely perform much smoother on PS5.

You can check out an official trailer for the release date below.

The Callisto Protocol Release Date

Once more, The Callisto Protocol comes out for PlayStation, Xbox consoles, and PC Dec. 2, 2022. We will be covering the game with guides and more so stay glued to Twinfinite! Also remember, this game is pretty freaky, so make sure you’re ready to potentially jump out of your seat before watching the trailer.

This first look for the game is rather chilling, featuring plenty of terrifying monsters and an equally terrifying voice-over of who we can only assume is The Callisto Protocol’s main antagonist. Will the game live up to its hype?
