It’s less than a week before the launch of Destiny 2's next big expansion, Beyond Light, and Bungie has decided to pass the time by inviting players to participate in another elaborate ARG puzzle.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will receive a free update on Friday, Nov. 6 that adds a new mode, challenges, and gear, developer Vicarious Visions announced today.
The update will add the ability to replay both THPS 1 and THPS 2 Tours modes with individual skaters. The Solo Tour will reset all goals and medals, while the current Tours mode will renamed to “Crew Tours.” Players with progress in previous tours will find their completed Tours in the renamed mode.
The studio created 100 new challenges across 10 challenge sets, which can be found across the Solo Tour, multiplayer, and Create-a-Park modes. The challenges will award XP and cash, and the studio said it has been “tuned on an overall level” that will help players reach level 100.
The update will also add new Create-a-Skater gear, such as three new decks that were created by fans and a few Crash Bandicoot-themed items to celebrate the release of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year– the holidays are just around the corner! With that in mind, you’re likely scrambling (or about to very soon) for the perfect gifts for all of the special people in your life. Thankfully, we’ve gone ahead and compiled a list of some great Sims gifts for all of the dedicated Simmers in your life.
With the upcoming release of The Sims 4‘s new expansion, Snowy Escape, this holiday season brings fans a lot to get excited over. Let’s jump right into some Sims gifts you should consider giving.
There’s probably nothing better to give a Simmer than a new expansion when it comes to Sims gifts. They bring so much more gameplay and choice to the base game, creating a better overall experience.
Here are a few of the most recent expansions and additions, starting with the not-yet-released Snowy Escape!
I’m huddled up inside a rickety old attic somewhere in the farmlands of Verdansk. The crack of sniper fire echos through the lumber yard to the north, taunting me. There’s nothing but a half-mile of dirt and grass between me and the next safe zone. Short version: This is where I live now. Then the pitter-patter of boots beneath me. Without even realizing it, I’ve pivoted my tepid little shotgun towards the stairs, listening for the boots to move from the soft dirt to the brittle wood. Two roarings blasts later, I’m somehow still alive. With my position given away to anyone within 100 yards, it won’t be for long.
Whether it’s in the sprawling Warzone or the tighter confines of a deathmatch, Call of Duty has always let players absorb the sights and sounds of chaos. With everyone’s eyes on how flashy a next-gen Call of Duty will look, it’s easy to forget how audio can truly plant you in the middle of a gunfight or under the shadow of an artillery shell. Even as Treyarch looks back to the early 80’s -- complete with its pervasive Reaganism, analog toys, and Robert Redford hairstyles -- for its thematic inspiration for Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War, its team of sound designers and engineers is equally excited for what next-gen consoles are bringing to the mixing table.
The holidays may seem far off but they always manage to sneak up on us. This year, don’t spend time rushing around town frantically to look for gifts for the gamers in your family. If your friend or family member is a fan of Final Fantasy, look no further.
Due to the popularity of this JRPG franchise that started back in 1987, there are tons of officially licensed merchandise as well amazing fan made creations to enjoy.
Check out these amazing Final Fantasy gift ideas that we found from around the internet!
If there is one constant staple of Final Fantasy, it’s the Chocobo! If your family or workplace loves doing ugly sweater contests, or if you need something warm to cuddle up in, this gift is perfect.

In today's contest you can win DIRT 5 Amplified Edition for PS4, Xbox One, or Steam!
No disrespect here, but man how does a game called "dirt" sell so many copies? It's crazy! You've gotta have some cajones to name your game after stuff you swish off your feet after walking around outside.
Well, DIRT 5 is upon us, so you know what that means -- contest time! We're giving away the Amplified Edition, which includes all post-launch DLC and other goodies. I'm also going on a technicality on this one, but since the game has a free upgrade to PS5/Xbox One Series S/X (God I hate typing that), you're technically getting the next gen for free, too!

As reviews for the Xbox Series X arrive, I’m here to talk about one aspect of the console that could impact your desire to buy one, as it has mine. I am a trypophobe, and I cannot own an Xbox Series X because of all its damn holes.
We’re getting close now, people! It’s just a week until those lucky enough to have a pre-order for Sony’s anticipated next-generation machine have their PS5’s delivered. And to get you ahead of the curve, PlayStation Support has just uploaded several new videos showcasing exactly how to get the best out of the machine.
Up first, the recommended settings walkthrough offers an overview of how to adjust your PlayStation 5 console settings to help maximize your experience with new features such as haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, 3D audio, and more.
Next, how to set up and use your account:
Finally, the all-important data-transferring process between PS4 and PS5:
Publisher Coatsink has today announced that the charming puzzle-platformer PHOGS! finally has a release date. The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Stadia next month, Dec. 3, for $24.99.
Those lucky enough to have a PS5 or Xbox Series X console can look forward to playing PHOGS! on their new systems thanks to backward compatibility.
If you’ve not heard of PHOGS!, it first caught our eye back at EGX Rezzed 2018 for its cutesy dual-headed protagonists and clever physics-based puzzle gameplay.
You play (ideally co-operatively) as a duo of dogs connected via an elastic, gelatinous mid-section, as they adventure across all sorts of weird and wonderful stages, each of which is designed to challenge players to combine their imagination and the unique abilities of their PHOG.
Anybody who’s seen Adventure Time or CatDog will spot some of the inspirations that have influenced PHOGS!’s world and character design.
The game was originally set for a summer launch, but it was subsequently delayed as a result of COVID-19.
A new launch trailer celebrates PHOGS! release date news, which you can check out below.
A Dragalia Lost Princess Connect Re:Dive Event will begin this month. Are you ready to meet Pecorine and hear a new song from M·A·O?

It's no Dungeon Keeper, but if you're in the mood for efficient base management and capital e-Evil, you may wanna grab Dungeons 3 for PC while it's free to claim for one week on the Epic Games Store.
Wait, wasn't this supposed to be something else? You're right – nice attention to detail.
Before a last-minute switch, this freebie was going to be Wargame: Red Dragon. I remember because the game's name kicked off a recurring "all things Hannibal Lecter" chat with Chris and Brett. Without fail, one of us will say something every few weeks to trigger it and we end up talking about the good doctor for way too long. The chat inevitably ends in us rattling off iconic scenes from Red Dragon.
Before you dwell on other matters, please take a moment to remember Edward Norton's bleached hair.
Next week, the Epic Store will have The Textorcist for free. It's a loosely "educational" typing-action game about banishing demons and a whole lot of other nonsense. I'll circle back on November 12.
Phogs!, an indie puzzle platformer featuring a dog with two heads, will finally be releasd on 3rd December.
That's for Nintendo Switch, Steam, Stadia, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and through backwards compatibility on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X.
As previously announced, Phogs! will launch straight onto Xbox Game Pass on both console and PC. Otherwise, it'll be priced at $25 (about £20).
With the PlayStation 5 about a week away, the developers behind the launch lineup are ready to release their games out into the wild as hordes of gamers rush out and rip open the boxes holding their new systems. Godfall was one of the very first next-gen games we learned about, way back during The Game Awards 2019, and now, it's set to launch alongside the PS5 next week.
To celebrate the impending launch, developer Counterplay Games and publisher Gearbox Publishing have released a new launch trailer. This new video shows off plenty of stylish, gorgeous action while also (somewhat vaguely) laying out the stakes. You can see the Godfall launch trailer below.

Most cops are pigs, is the going theory. But in the rain-swept noir world of Chicken Police, at least two of them are poultry policemen. The monochromatic farmyard murder mystery begins its investigation today, a cinematic point ‘n’ click thriller about two bad birds getting back together for one last case in the dead of night. After all, in the city of Clawville, every animal is nocturnal.
Driving a virtual truck is a serious job, no doubt, but I make time to appreciate the view in American Truck Simulator. The haul ’em up tentatively introduced sightseeing spots with its Idaho expansion, a few spots where we can roll up to enjoy cinematic views of landmarks and landscapes, and now it’s added more. Preset cutscene points are not the first-person wandering I ache for, but I accept that’s beyond the scope of this game, and will settle for seeing more of Washington and Utah.
If you're a regular Game Informer reader, you've probably noticed that we are big fans of Among Us crossovers. From Star Wars to The Sims, these sus little jelly bean astronauts have been busy invading other games with the latest being Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Unlike some of the other crossovers we've featured, this isn't a mod. Instead, it's a small little fan edit that cracked me up way more than it probably should have. I'm in the US, it's a stressful time, let me have this laugh.
Cries of “put Mileena in the game!” were finally silenced when Netherrealm announced the fan-favorite’s return in Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. As great as it’s been to watch Rain and Rambo tear it up, Mileena’s gameplay might be the most glorious (read: goriest) sight to behold.
Shang Tsung created Mileena at the behest of Shao Kahn by combining Edenian and Tarkatan DNA. This bittersweet fusion bestows on her the physical grace and near-identical appearance of Kitana as well as the bloodthirst and horrifying visage of Baraka. Mileena last appeared in Mortal Kombat X and...didn’t make it through that game’s story, we’ll say. Thanks to Kronika’s time travel magic, however, the former Kahn gets brought forward to the present day. After learning of her reign and grisly death at the hands of D’Vorah and Kotal Kahn, Mileena's out to reclaim her throne.
Demon's Souls fans know all too well the struggles of attempting to create anything other than a weirdly misshapen humanoid lump of a protagonist in the game's distinctly no-frill characters creator - but a new look at developer Bluepoint's PS5 remake has revealed the days of endless Dead-eyed McRubberfaces will soon be no more.
While Demon's Souls medieval-inspired aesthetic inevitably means there are plenty of times player characters will be entirely ensconced in heavy armour, there are enough less-all-consuming equipment and armour options that a decent character creator does make a lot of sense. And Bluepoint's offering in the Demon's Souls remake is said to be flexible enough to allow for 16 million character permutations.
"We've added many more customisation options than you'll remember from the PS3 game, and also worked hard to ensure there is a satisfying variety possible for those who wish to tinker with every slider," it explains in a new PlayStation blog post. "With the number of total synchronous online players in an instance increased to six, standing out will mean so much more."
Faces get a makeover for PlayStation 5 remake
Today Square Enix revealed more information, footage, and screenshots of the upcoming cross-gen game Outriders.
First of all, we get an introduction of the Technomancer class followed by the introduction of Expeditions that come after the campaign.
A new camp will become available and mysterious points of interest will appear on Enoch triggering the ability to join Expeditions.
There won’t be any recycled content from the main campaign as Expeditions are entirely bespoke. Enemies won’t drop loot, but all rewards will come in the end, whether you win or not.
The maximum level for the character will be 30 at launch, but weapons and gear included in Expeditions come up to 50.
We also hear about crafting and modding gear, on top of the skill tree, which combine to offer a lot of freedom in customizing your build.

Ever feel as though life has hurtled you helplessly through the air, leaving you to plink off of a taxi cab and go crashing into an electrical box? When you're down and out, just say to yourself "Remember, I'm Spider-Man.*"
Sony has produced a 30-second TV ad for Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and let me be perfectly succinct here: It gets the job done. It's devilishly simple. Just a lot of web-slingin' and ass-kickin'. That's what you want from a Spider-Man game and it's also what you want from a Spider-Man commercial.
Anyway, watching this will probably get you geared the hell up for next week. Seven more days until PS5 is here, and seven more days until a new Spider-Man game. Hell yes, it's the most wonderful time of the year.
*Probably only works if you're actually Spider-Man
Apex Legends’ Season 7 is here, and a wave of bans has come alongside its new map and character. Over 400 players have been banned from the game across all platforms for exploiting a glitch that allowed high-level players in the game’s ranked mode to play with—and presumably dominate—newcomers.
It’s the mid-80s, and the United States Of America is about to face its most dangerous enemy yet – itself. Out today, Möbius Front ’83 is a new tactical wargame from Opus Magnum and Infinifactory developers Zachtronics, a dimension-hopping military strategy romp that sees the puzzle boffins take their shot at a more violent form of problem solving with troops, tanks and attack helicopters.
Today Gearbox Publishing hosted a livestream of its upcoming looter-slasher Godfall.
First of all, we get to take a look at the launch trailer of the game.
After that, we get to see plenty of gameplay showcasing the player’s home base and how Valor Plates are unlocked. The gameplay also showcases gear loadouts.
Next is a boss fight against the proto-dragon Thraex, which is at the end of a story mission (which was not showcased to avoid spoilers).
Incidentally, we hear that loot happens instantly for all players, so you don’t have to worry about someone grabbing everything.
The maximum level is 50 and every time you level up you can earn skill points. Completing endgame activities will let you acquire additional skill points to progress further in your skill grid. It’s not possible to completely fill out the skill grid (it would require 125 skill points and you can’t have that many). That being said, respeccing is “very easy.”
The endgame will include ten “Dreamstones” and then the “Ascended Tower of Trials,” which will be the ultimate test of your skill and drops unique loot, including the most compelling weapons of the game.
You can check everything out below.

The next generation of gaming is almost here with the Xbox Series X/S and the PlayStation 5. New platforms mean new adventures and stories to treasure forever. While every new generation has had something special to offer, there are a few titles I'm most excited about when thinking about diving into next gen.
From pretending I have more coordination than I actually do with a solid shooter to taking to Thedas once more within a new BioWare tale, here are the games I'm looking forward to the most in the coming years.
