UPDATE: Sony has taken the unprecedented step of not only allowing players to get refunds for Cyberpunk 2077, but de-listing the game from the PlayStation Store. ...
The troubled PlayStation 4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 didn't hit Sony's bar for customer satisfaction, and is being removed from PlayStation's digital marketplace. People who purchased the game and are not satisfied with its performance can seek a refund. All you need to do is head to Sony's website, log in, and submit your request for the refund.
Sony delivered the following short statement:
SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store. SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.
Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund. Please note that completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.
Sony announced today that it will offer full refunds to those who wish to get their money back after purchasing Cyberpunk 2077 from the PlayStation Store.
On top of that, the game will be removed from the store itself until further notice, likely until CD Projekt RED can amend the issues affecting it.
You can find the announcement here, alongside a link to request the refund.
This comes after the game was met by harsh criticism due to running poorly on old-generation consoles.
CD Projekt RED had already committed to supporting the refunds and fixing the issues affecting the game a few days ago, but early reports mentioned that Sony wasn’t playing ball. Apparently, things have changed.
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available for PS4 (if you can find a physical copy, I guess), Xbox One, and PC. It has also been confirmed to be coming for Xbox Series X and PS5 down the line with upgrades available for those who purchase the game for the current generation of consoles.
If you already picked up the game (and don’t plan to get a refund), you can enjoy our guide wiki that could provide you with useful information for your playthrough.
CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 released on consoles in a less than optimal state--and now, PlayStation has taken action. The company has removed the game from the PlayStation Store, and promised to issue refunds to customers.
Cyberpunk 2077 no longer appears when you search for it on the PlayStation Store, and Sony has shared a link for players to claim a refund for the digital version of the release. This applies to both the PS4 and PS5 stores.

As players began to discover Cyberpunk 2077's shoddy release state on consoles, developer CD Projekt Red suggested that Sony and Microsoft would be able to issue refunds; however, it eventually transpired that consultation with these companies had not happened, and the company soon stopped suggesting contacting PlayStation for a refund.

The Callisto Protocol was announced at The Game Awards earlier this month, giving us an intriguing first look at this new horror title that is, curiously, set within the same game universe as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. The trailer we saw during the show was toned down, though--and now a far more violent Red Band version has been released.
The trailer starts similarly, and is still giving us major Dead Space vibes--which makes sense, since developer Striking Distance was founded by the game's co-creator, Glen Schofield. However, while the initial trailer cut away from the monster attack, this one doesn't.
This extended trailer shows the character we were introduced to during The Game Awards getting brutalized, and it's not pretty. If you're not good with eye stuff (as many people aren't), you might want to skip this trailer.
The trailer also has a new ending, proving the character's fate definitively.
The Callisto Protocol will release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2022. We haven't seen gameplay footage yet, so it's not entirely clear what kind of game it will be just yet.
Important Update for @PlayStation Users pic.twitter.com/fCB4z74M3z
Hopefully concluding a rollercoaster few days where PlayStation owners were told to get a refund for Cyberpunk 2077 then asked not to, Sony has confirmed that not only will the company be issuing refunds, but the game itself is being pulled from the PlayStation Store.
League of Legends fans who would like to enjoy the universe but not keep playing the same game over and over until you die, you’re in luck. Riot just announced a new MMO set in the game’s universe in the most casual way imaginable.
Many fans of Microsoft Flight Simulator are eagerly awaiting the release of Aerosoft’s Bombardier CRJ add-on, which will bring the first advanced regional jet to the sim.
Today a special thread was shared from the beta test of the aircraft in the form of a first look at its working EFIS PFD and MFD displays.
They look really smooth, and honestly, I can’t wait to spend hours looking at them on my own PC.
On top of the displays, we also get a small sample of what the aircraft sounds like, which is awesome.

Note: It might be obvious, but this post contains significant spoilers for the story and ending of Cyberpunk 2077--even though we've tried to limit them.
There are a bunch of different endings available in Cyberpunk 2077 depending on your choices, your relationships, and how you've interacted with Johnny Silverhand over the course of the game before you reach it. Triggering them all requires some work, but if you've met the prerequisites, you'll see how to access each one in a pretty straightforward way when the time comes. That's true of all but one separate, secret ending that you might not ever know you have access to--and which will put you through one of Cyberpunk's toughest challenges.
To get the secret ending, you need to make sure to have a high level of friendship with Johnny, which means you have completed his many side quests and have chosen friendly dialogue options, as opposed to antagonistic ones, when dealing with him. Check out our rundown of everything you should do before reaching Cyberpunk 2077's endgame for a complete picture of what Johnny Silverhand quests you can do and how to unlock them.
Continue Reading at GameSpotThe next character being added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is Cloud's archenemy, Sephiroth, who unlocks on December 22 (or earlier, if you can beat him in a special challenge). Fans have been wary about how much extra Final Fantasy music and content would be introduced, since Cloud, infamously, only had two character-specific music track when the game launched. Sephiroth, it turns out, is getting more support.
During today's presentation, it was revealed that nine new Final Fantasy songs are being introduced in this update, bringing the total to 11. These are focused on music from Final Fantasy VII and its spin-off movie, Advent Children, and include some new arrangements of classic songs.
Here's the full list of tracks:
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans were pleasantly surprised when Sephiroth was revealed as the next DLC fighter during The Game Awards. Naturally, there were a lot of questions regarding how he’ll play – namely how the game will handle his absurdly long sword, the Masamune. The latest gameplay deep dive hosted by Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai gave us an intimate look at the villain in action as well as the new additions coming when Sephiroth arrives on December 22.
Sephiroth comes in both his classic look as well as a shirtless variant. He’s only voiced in Japanese, which is a bummer for fans of his English voice. As expected, Sephiroth’s sword has a long range, great for keeping foes at bay or for closing the gap against ranged-based fighters. His wide-arching Up + Smash attack can simultaneously strike opponents in front of and behind him. The downward stab attack can pierce through platforms, damaging opponents hiding underneath. When knocked out of the ring, Sephiroth can also stab the stage to prevent himself from falling, then pull himself back up ... and that’s not even his actual recovery move. Of course, Sephiroth sports his signature Octaslash as well.
Why are some companies in the game biz - from Embracer Group to Keywords - going on studio buying sprees right now? Should we be worried about it, and what are the larger financial underpinnings? ...
Sephiroth, the new character in the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster, is available now for anyone who has purchased the Fighters Pass Volume 2. However, unlike previous DLC fighters, you need to defeat Sephiroth to unlock him, otherwise he remains locked for another week. The fight is live now, and thankfully, unlocking him is very easy.
When you start the game up, if you have the Fighters Pass, the Sephiroth Challenge will appear on the main menu, and you can start it by pressing the + button.
The Sephiroth Challenge is a HP battle on his new stage, Northern Cave, and there's three difficulty settings you can fight the Final Fantasy villain at. Doing so is not much of a challenge, especially on Easy, meaning that Sephiroth is effectively available today for players of almost all skill levels.
We've crunched the numbers and laid out the Sephiroth moveset in detail. Check out the fighter's quirks, specials, and final smash.

Sephiroth officially joins the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate cast next week, but players eager to open their presents early can unlock this surprisingly shirtless Final Fantasy VII villain right now by simply kicking the crap out of him.
Microsoft, Sony, and GameStop’s refund policies are not the same as CD Projekt’s
Cyberpunk 2077 is filled with choices, and while not all of them matter or have a big impact on how the game shakes out, some are monumental. A lot of these choices are reflected in Cyberpunk 2077's ending--what you decide to do and who you decide to do it with alters your options as you approach Cyberpunk's final act, while also changing what you might see when the dust settles.
We've compiled all the information you need to know to help you decide how to work through Cyberpunk's endgame, either to get the ending that best fits your take on protagonist V, or to help you see each and every variation. Be sure to consult our side quest guide that runs down everything you should do before the Point of No Return, so you can make sure to unlock all the possible ending options.
Obviously, this post contains massive spoilers. We'll try to keep non-essential information to a minimum, but if you want to experience the end of Cyberpunk 2077 organically, we recommend you stop reading now.

When my wife first saw me playing Monster Train she thought I’d gotten hooked on Slay The Spire again and she’d have to put up with another stretch of me playing it incessantly. I had good news and bad news for her: the good news is that, despite also being a colorful and cartoony game in which you pick new cards and modifier items after every fight to improve your deck, and then spend energy to use those cards in turn-based battle, Monster Train is a very different take on the deck-building roguelike idea. The bad news (again, for her, not for Monster Train) is that it’s every bit as fantastically deep, dynamic, and replayable, and it’s kept me just as engrossed as Slay The Spire ever did.
The most obvious difference is that instead of having just one character attacking and casting spells, Monster Train puts you in command of many creatures – and they can be summoned onto the first three of your train’s four floors to create an increasingly complex gauntlet for enemies to run through on their way to attack its power source at the top. Why does a train have four floors? That’s… unclear, as trains are traditionally laid out horizontally. But Monster Train has some very odd lore around it about a quest to restart the fires of Hell that provides some crazy, colorful backdrops for its battles and successfully handwaves away any sort of questions – such as “Why is Hell good and Heaven bad now?” – as not important anyway.

Two years after its unveiling at BlizzCon 2018 met a hostile reaction from fans, Diablo Immortal - the Diablo game that commits the terrible sins of not being Diablo 4, and being a mobile game - has broken a long, cowed silence. After that reception, Blizzard was unlikely to do anything with the game until it had something substantial to show, and so it has proved. At a Zoom briefing with the developers earlier this week, press were told that the game was entering a "very limited" public technical alpha test that has just gone live as you read this. We were also given early access to the alpha, so I've had a chance to try it out, albeit briefly.
Unlike the BlizzCon 2018 demo, this is a substantial chunk of game, with a level cap of 45, four character classes to try, many of the game's features (excluding the in-game shop, but more on that later), a massively multiplayer city hub and multiple adventure zones and dungeons to explore. While there is doubtless a lot of debugging, optimisation and balancing still to do, for an alpha, it is extraordinarily polished. It plays well and it looks, sounds and feels incredibly close to the Diablo 3 experience on PC or (especially) console. Sound and visual effects are instantly familiar, as are many of the class skills, many of the enemy designs, and the gothic stylings and snappy response of the UI.
For nearly the entire history of video games, most title’s lifespans would play out the same cruel, Darwinian way: they would come out and either live or die, sometimes with spectacular consequences. No second chances.
The Diablo series has endeared itself to its legions of fans over the years with its stellar dungeon-crawling and addicting loot systems that keep players coming back years after the original release dates. Blizzard is hoping to keep that magic flowing but this time for mobile players with Diablo Immortal.
A majority of the trappings that players know and love from the console/PC entries returns for Diablo Immortal. Players can take up the mantle of the Barbarian, Monk, Wizard, Demon Hunter, Crusader, or Necromancer as they traverse the game's numerous mini-dungeons.
What's different this time around (outside of playing Diablo on your phone) is that Blizzard is leaning more into its MMO roots for this experience. Players can find other users throughout the world and team up, PVP, and trade items on a marketplace.
While all of that sounds great on paper, is it worth your time if you're a fan of the series but are cringing at the idea of playing a Diablo game on mobile? We'll let Mr. Tack answer that.
The Diablo Immortal Alpha is finally here. How does it live up to expectations? It’s been quite some time since its meme-tinged reveal at Blizzcon years ago, and the free-to-play mobile Diablo game is out in the wild for a select group of testers. I had a chance to go hands on and slaughter skeletons, spiders, and cultists by the hundreds. Let me be upfront with initial impressions – it plays well, looks good, and leans in hard on the core principles that make Diablo games great. That said, it makes me wish I could play it on another platform without having to resort to Android emulation, as I simply don’t enjoy gaming on my phone for extended periods of time and I loathe virtual controls. Let’s dive in.
The Dragon Ball FighterZ roster isn't done growing quite yet and a recent V-Jump scan that leaked early confirms which arrival is coming next. The next FighterZ DLC fighter to arrive in the game soon is Super Baby 2, a character from Dragon Ball GT, and the recent scans give us a little clue as to what this means for the game.
V-Jump is a Japanese publication and Twitter user @Dbshype just uploaded a few scans showing off the latest arrival:

Estuans interius ira vehementi, Sephiroth! The SSBU Sephiroth DLC will be available next week, but Sephiroth Challenge is available today.
The post The SSBU Sephiroth Release Date Will Be December 22, 2020 appeared first on Siliconera.
Nintendo held a live-streamed presentation today that was hosted by none other than the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director, Masahiro Sakurai, to reveal more gameplay of Sephiroth, the latest DLC fighter.
Before Sephiroth was shown off, Sakurai revealed the new Mii Fighter costumes coming to the game. To go along with the theme of Final Fantasy VII, Barret, Tifa, and Aerith will be available for purchase for $0.75 each. There’s also a cute Chocobo hat and Super Mario RPG fans will be happy to hear that Geno will be arriving as a Mii Gunner costume as well.
As for Sephiroth himself, interestingly enough, we learn that he will only have his Japanese voice for all of his phrases. Also, every single Smash attack from Sephiroth will have super armor, making it difficult for enemies to stop the attack once it starts.
If you get KO’d as Sephiroth or even KO an opponent, there could be a chance that his dark wing will disappear, which is what allows him to perform multiple jumps in the air. If you’re at a stock disadvantage, the wing can come back after taking some damage. According to Sakurai, players will see some differences depending on the situation.
Sephiroth’s neutral special is one of three moves, depending on how long it’s charged for. If you fire it immediately, the move is Flare and it’s long-ranged and ends in an explosion. Hold it a bit longer to get Megaflare and the final move with the most power is Gigaflare.
The side special is Shadow Flare and shoots a projectile at foes, and if it hits them, purple flames will surround them and then eventually cause damage if not blocked correctly. It can also be reflected.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai gave us a closer look at the game's next DLC fighter, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, during today's video presentation. In addition to detailing the fighter's moveset, Sakurai revealed when Sephiroth will join the roster, and it's very soon.
Sephiroth will officially join the roster next week, on December 22. However, Nintendo is giving fans a chance to unlock the new fighter early through a special limited-time event. If you've purchased the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 or Sephiroth's character pack, you can challenge the One-Winged Angel as a boss fight. If you manage to defeat Sephiroth, you'll unlock him ahead of his official release date. The event runs from December 17-22.
Like other DLC fighters, Sephiroth arrives alongside a brand-new stage, Northern Cave, as well as a handful of unlockable Spirits and nine new songs. The full song list includes:
