2 years 9 months ago

So far, E3 2021 has all been about games, games, games and more games, but those green snakey folks over at Razer have also taken the opportunity today to show off some of their new gaming hardware today, including their all-new Razer Blade 14 gaming laptop. Not only is this the world's thinnest 14in gaming laptop, but it's also their first such device to come with an AMD CPU - and it looks rather lovely, if I do say so myself, especially when this super slim laptop is also going to be available with one of Nvidia's RTX 3080 graphics chips inside it, too.

2 years 9 months ago

The Great Ace Attorney has been out for the 3DS in Japan for years at this point, but it looks like Capcom is finally ready to bring the game to the west. At Capcom’s E3 presentation today, we got our first official look at the Switch port, and you can check out the trailer for yourself down below:

Set in 19th century Japan, we follow Ryuunosuke Naruhodou, Phoenix’s ancestor, who, of course, also happens to be an attorney. He travels to London soon afterwards and even gets to team up with Herlock Sholmes, a renowned detective in the region, and totally not based on another very well-known detective who’s had tons of mainstream pop culture based around him.

We also got to see some gameplay footage featuring two mechanics: Dance of Deduction and Summation Examination.

A Trial Version Is Coming For Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings Of Ruin

2 years 9 months ago

Capcom is less than a month away from releasing Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, and it had more to show off from the game in today’s E3 showcase.

First, a new trailer was unveiled for the game, different from the one shown at the Summer Game Fest opening ceremony on Thursday. It’s a great watch for a synopsis of what to expect in the story, as well as a look at the gameplay.

The big news came after the trailer, though: a trial for Monster Hunter Stories 2 is coming on June 25, which will carry over your save progress to the full game when it launches a few weeks later. It was not said whether this trial version is coming to PC as well as Switch. Capcom also revealed its first free content update for the game which brings Monster Hunter Rise’s canine companion the Palamute over as a new Monstie to use in battle.

Resident Evil Village Is Getting DLC; Re:Verse Launches Next Month

2 years 9 months ago

Though it may not have been substantial, there was news to be found about Resident Evil Village and the multiplayer spin-off Resident Evil Re:Verse at E3 2021.

During Capcom’s press conference livestream held on June 14, it was revealed that DLC for Resident Evil Village is currently in development. However, no specifics were given on when the DLC would release, and there was no teaser trailer or footage provided alongside the announcement.

Likewise, Resident Evil Re:Verse was confirmed to be releasing next month across all platforms. Those who purchased Resident Evil Village will still be able to play the game free of charge, and should have access to the title indefinitely for as long as it is available.

The announcement came alongside some teaser footage of the game, but there was nothing new shown for the title to go along with the release window. Likewise, no firm release date has been provided at this time. We’ll update this article accordingly if a release date is provided in the coming days.

The full reveal can be viewed by checking out the archive of Capcom’s press conference here.

The news comes after a busy few months for the Resident Evil franchise. In addition to the release of Resident Evil Village, the series has also been celebrating its 25th anniversary with crossover events. Key among them are STARS-themed gear drops in The Division 2 and the introduction of Nemesis as a monster in Dead by Daylight.

External hard drives are hard to find at a good price right now, as miners of the new Chia cryptocurrency have purchased drives in huge numbers.
