Street Fighter 6 Reveals Classic Costumes for Chun-Li, Ryu, & Guile and Street Costumes for Luke & Jamie

1 year 9 months ago

Today Capcom revealed a batch of screenshots of the upcoming fighting game Street Fighter 6.

First of all, we take a look at the classic costumes for the returning traditional characters we know and love, Ryu, Chun-li, and Guile.

If you’re not a fan of their fancy new treads (and beards), you’ll be happy to know that you’ll be able to bring them back to their origins, at least looks-wise.

On top of these classic costumes, we also get new ones in the form of street outfits for the new characters Luke and Jamie. Ok… Luke’s just “new-ish” considering that he was the last DLC character for Street Fighter V, but you get what I mean.

You can see them all below.

PUBG New State Mobile Update Adds Map For Team Deatchmatch

1 year 9 months ago

Krafton Inc. has announced a new update for PUBG: New State Mobile. The update introduces a new team deathmatch map called Exhibit Hall, the MP-155 Ultima shotgun, weapon customization options, Vol. 9 of the Survivor Pass, and an overhaul to the Troi Extreme mode.

The Exhibit Hall is a 4v4 map and the first team to reach 40 kills wins the match. When a player dies on the map, they won't respawn in a fixed point, but they'll spawn in one of 10 locations spread across the map.

Players can fully utilize the MP-155 Ultima shotgun in the new close-quarters map. Not only is it an ideal weapon to use, but you'll be able to customize it with scopes, barrels, and stock attachment slots for added damage and control. With the new customization, players can add a full-auto trigger to the shotgun to increase the fire rate, but doing so will increase the recoil. You'll also be able to put an enhanced suppressor on the SKS's C2 customizing slot, that'll increase damage and decrease sound, but it'll also increase the gun's recoil and loss of a muzzle attachment. Lastly, players can equip a grenade launcher on the AKM grip slot.

The update also introduces a new Survivor Pass with a Honey Becca theme from the New State faction. There'll also be a Troi vacation episode, and when players complete the missions, they'll have the opportunity to claim all Honey's costumes and face skins for free. Players who purchase the Premium Pass can also claim the 'Choco Vanilla' costume set and additional rewards.

Due to community feedback, Troi Extreme has been changed and the tempo of the bluezone will be sped up, which will shorten match times and replace existing airdrops with multi-drops. Upon entering the Troi Extreme, the items provided to players have also been changed.

Meet the Adorable Voice Actor for the Cat in Stray

1 year 9 months ago

Stray, the latest adventure from Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio, is out now for PC and Playstation. In the game, you play as an orange stray cat navigating a dystopian, cyberpunk world in order to reunite with its family.

Since you spend the game in control of a cat, there are plenty of feline antics to do in the game, like knocking things over, scratching carpet or trees, and jumping into boxes. One of the best parts, though, is that there is an entire button dedicated to meowing (and even an achievement for meowing at least 100 times!).

In order for players to meow to their heart’s content, it only makes sense that there needed to be a voice actor to make the mewing sounds possible.

That’s where Lala comes in.

Lala plays the role of the adorable meows and other cat sounds you hear while playing Stray. Personally, we think she’s a very talented actress with a quite a wide vocal range.

Iron Banter: This Week In Destiny 2 - Spoiler Alert

1 year 9 months ago

Just about every week brings something new to Destiny 2, whether it's story beats, new activities, or interesting new combinations of elements that let players devastate each other in the Crucible. Iron Banter is our weekly look at what's going on in the world of Destiny and a rundown of what's drawing our attention across the solar system.

We're officially in the full run-up to Destiny 2's next expansion, Lightfall, now that Bungie has announced a showcase that seems very likley to drop a bunch of details about the game's next chapter. Each year, Bungie develops videos that give a look at gameplay and new mechanics, provide a sense of what new guns are coming to the game, show the expansion's setting, detail any other changes, and, somewhat crucially, explain where the story is headed in the next year. And when it comes to story, speculation is rampant about how 2023's Lightfall could upend the Destiny universe.

I've speculated about the deal with Lightfall in the past--I'm guessing it's the Empire Strikes Back portion of the current story as Bungie works to bring its "Light and Darkness Saga" to a close in The Final Shape, the expansion after Lightfall. But I think the placement of the showcase could also be a clue about what might be in store for Destiny 2 in its upcoming season, and the events that are set to lead us into the obviously spooky story alluded to by the Lightfall title.

Watch a 30-minute drive through American Truck Simulator's gorgeous Montana expansion

1 year 9 months ago

It's been a fair while since developer SCS Software revealed American Truck Simulator's next destination would be Montana, but now, following regular progress reports on its blog, the studio has given us our best look yet at the forthcoming expansion, sharing a scenic 30-minute drive across the state in a lengthy new gameplay video.

Montana, which was confirmed to be in development last November, will be American Truck Simulator's tenth explorable state, joining California and Nevada (both of which were included at launch in 2016), alongside DLC additions Arizona, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, and Wyoming.

Setting the scene for its new expansion on Steam, SCS explains, "Montana is a gateway to Glacier and Yellowstone - two crown jewels of the national park system - and is home to glistening glacial lakes, snow-capped mountain peaks, blue-ribbon trout streams, and mighty Missouri, Yellowstone, and Flathead Rivers."

Reader Discussion: What Did You Name The Cat In Stray?

1 year 9 months ago

Stray has been out in the wild for a couple of days now, which means players have had plenty of time to answer one burning question: what did you name the cat?

The game’s furry protagonist lacks an official name. As you explore the post-apocalyptic world, have you given it one yourself? If so, what name have you settled on?

Admittedly, I’m still figuring that out myself. I still have a good ways to go in Stray, and I’ve batted around a few options as I hopped across rooftops and meowed at robots. Some are more elaborate, like "Chester A. Tabby II" (the successor to my Palico’s name in Monster Hunter: World); others are more simple, like “Creamsicle," which has been growing on me. I’m hoping your responses inspire me to concoct the purr-fect moniker. I'm sorry.

So let’s hear it: what do you call the cat in Stray? There are no wrong answers. Well, unless you named it “Dog.” Then we’ll have to snitch on you to the Cat Police. The Cats-apo? I'm going to stop now. Share your responses below!

Batman-less Gotham Knights gets prequel comic starring Batman

Gotham Knights, the upcoming game where you play as a bunch of Batman's sidekicks, will get a six-issue comic book prequel starring the Dark Knight himself.

The upcoming prequel comic, titled as Gotham Knights - Gilded City, focuses on Batman as he attempts to quell the spread of a rage-inducing virus infecting Gotham City (thanks, PopVerse).

This case is being billed as Batman's final mission before his apparently very much permanent demise, so there's likely some interesting backstory here relevant to the game.

Every MultiVersus Character Ranked, From Big Dumb Robot to Ultra Instinct Slacker

1 year 9 months ago

MultiVersus is a brand new free-to-play brawler that opens its beta for everyone on July 26. With a total of 16 people on the roster, some characters are more effective in combat than others, as with any fighting game. But what makes a character in MultiVersus effective?

First and foremost, due to MultiVersus’ focus on the team aspect of the game, something to certainly consider is how good a character is in this mode. Another major factor to look at is how effective a character is at not only knocking another character off the screen but also how good they are at staying on the screen themselves, as this is a vital part of the game, given that it is how players win or lose.

It is also worth noting that no character thus far is entirely abysmal and unplayable. Even the lesser combatants have something to offer the player and can be used to win a match; just some are much more effective at this than others. If you aren’t sure where to start, this ranking should help you decide what character you may excel with.

Without further ado, let’s rank the 16 fighters in the MultiVersus roster.

This Sexy New Ice Cream Dance Is Everything Right About Fortnite

1 year 9 months ago

In Fortnite, there's a character who is more or less a human-sized ice cream cone with arms, legs, and--on top of everything else--a face. And this week, to kick off Fortnite's No Sweat Summer event, he's released a suggestive hip-hop song and dance about eating ice cream that's got everybody in the metaverse losing their minds in one way or another. Nobody's neutral here. Folks either love the new in-universe song by sentient ice cream cone Lil Whip, or they find it profoundly horrible.

For me, the new emote corresponding with Lil Whip's hip-hop track, Drippin' Flavor, is a masterpiece of both song and dance. But more importantly than that, it's a distillation of what has given Fortnite its staying power: this willingness to put a lot of effort into being extremely stupid.

This is one of those things that you kinda need to see for yourself, so if you haven't seen this beautiful abomination yet, you should take a moment to watch at least some of this little music video that one of Epic's content creator partners put out at the start of Fortnite's No Sweat Summer event.

How Do You Fix Pokemon Go Facebook Login Error? Answered

1 year 9 months ago

When Pokemon GO launched, players could only log in to the game using a Google account. That means even trainers playing on iOS had to create their own Google accounts in the beginning. Eventually, Facebook was added as a login option. Unfortunately, like using a Google account, the Facebook login is prone to issues. Here’s everything you need to know about how to fix the Pokemon GO Facebook Login Error.

How Do You Fix Pokemon Go Facebook Login Error? Answered

First off, it’s important to identify if you’re having this error. Without some prior knowledge, it might be hard to tell if it’s a sign-in issue or if it’s a server issue. There are two telltale signs that there’s an issue with Facebook. One is the standard in-app message:

Pokemon GO Unable to authenticate. Please try again.

The other is a screen from Facebook that says:

App not active. This app is not accessible right now and the app developer is aware of the issue. You will be able to log in when the app is reactivated.

If you’re getting either of those messages when trying to use your Facebook login for Pokemon GO, then you’ll want to check out the solutions.

Microsoft Flight Simulator Boeing 757 & Harrier Get New Screenshots & Dev Updates; Mataveri Airport Announced; Analog Caravan & South America Mesh Released

1 year 9 months ago

Today third-party developers had interesting news and releases to share about upcoming add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We start with the Boeing 757-200 & 300 in the works at Bluebird Simulations, which received several screenshots and a development update.

“Over the last few months, we have focused a lot on getting the VC animations complete along with working on the FMS ( Flight Management System ) and flight dynamics. The VC animations are 90% complete. However, many switches still need to be integrated into the systems. From the FMS perspective, several pages on the FMC, certain AP functions, Navigation display , PFD are functioning. Without revealing too much it’s worth emphasising that the FMS is a huge priority. After the FMS is complete, we will work on the other systems of the aircraft.

On the exterior model, we have focused mainly on the landing gear. Still a lot of parts left to do but it is coming along nicely. The textures are unchanged from the last update but these are really just placeholder textures. A lot of detailed work is still left to do to really bring the textures to life.

The flight model has received attention too. However, there is much left to do here. We plan on integrating two different flight models. One will be aimed at “easier flying” while the other is aimed at maximum realism within the simulator limitations.”
